Story
Bella is an 8-month-old Great Pyrenees who's beautiful inside and out. At around 70 lbs and still growing, this gentle giant is very much a puppy at heart and is expected to be a large, majestic girl when fully grown. After spending much of her life tied outside and later in a crowded living situation, Bella truly appreciates having her own space where she can rest undisturbed. She adjusted quickly to foster life and settled in beautifully, learning the rhythms of home life. She is almost entirely potty-trained and she does well in her crate. While she can be a little unsure when her person leaves her line of sight, she is learning to self-soothe and settle independently with time and patience.Bella enjoys slow, sniffy walks (about two 30-minute walks a day) and short bursts of backyard play. A fenced yard will be required for her future home, ideally a 5-foot fence. Due to her size and breed traits, she cannot live in homes with shared walls (no apartments/townhomes).Bella loves games of chase, tug, and gentle wrestling, though she’s just as happy flopping dramatically on the floor when she decides playtime is over. She is curious and friendly with other dogs and children, though she has not met cats yet, so a proper introduction would be recommended there. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, soft-hearted Great Pyrenees who just wants a safe home, steady routine, and someone to love, Bella might be your perfect match.
