Hi, my name is Penny and I'm from Minnesota.
I still have some growing to do—especially these long legs of mine! I also have the cutest little underbite and the softest coat, which means I’m always ready for pets and cuddles.
I’m a sweet, happy girl looking for a family to call my very own. I love being with my people, going for walks, playing with my foster sister, and sniffing around the yard for treats. If you hide a snack for me, I’ll happily use my nose to “furrow” around until I find it—it’s one of my favorite games!
I’d love a home with another playful dog! I have tried to play with children the same way I play with dog friends, and it's been a bit too much for some kids.
I’m potty trained and ring a bell when I need to go outside. I’m also a smart cookie! I know “sit,” “come,” and my name, and I’m working on learning “down” and “off.”
I love to play! My foster sister and I have the best time wrestling and playing together, but when playtime is over, I’m perfectly content with a chew bone or curling up for a nap.
I also LOVE bedtime. As soon as it’s time to settle in for the night, I’m ready to snuggle up and drift off to sleep. Sleeping close to my people is one of my favorite parts of the day.
I’ve been to food truck festivals, dog-friendly patios, and adoption events, and I love meeting new people. I think everyone I meet is a new friend!
When my foster family leaves the house, I relax quietly in my crate. During the day, my foster mom is home with me, and at night I sleep in bed with my foster family and foster sister.
