Hi there, I'm Clementine & I would love to let you know about me.  Full disclosure, I will need time to decompress in my new home & to get to know (aka TRUST) my humans.  After I am used to my people, I absolutely ADORE having my face scrunched while I hear about your day or what a pretty girl I am.  You'll know when I'm ready for full contact face scrunching because I'll start laying next you & hang out.   I am not a fan of loud, busy homes, and would be happiest in a quieter environment where I can feel calm & safe.  I would be ok with older children who will respect me and not have grabby hands (I know it's tempting for them since I'm a cute black floof of fur, but it's scary for me) Until I get comfortable in my new home, I will most likely sing the song of my people and tell stories in my native tongue.  After I decompress and get more used to everything, this will subside and I will feel confident that you listened to my stories thoroughly, so I can stop repeating them.   My origin story is not the best.  I was adopted as a kitten & had a home.  I don't understand why, but that human tossed me out into the Denver streets to fend for myself.
