Manny is a stunning medium to long hair male cat rescued off the mean streets. He is safe now. Manny has the most fluffy ruff that surrounds his face. Could be some Maine coon in him. Part Persian. Not sure. Manny has never met a human or cat he does not like. He craves attention. Can be a bit needy at first. Boy, can he play. He needs a large space with a lot of activity. He was in a small apartment for a month and the family realized he has to be able to run around and explore. Extremely active. Manny needs stimulation so another active cat is paramount. He will do great with kids and probably a dog. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Jermeen is a gorgeous young all black fluffy kitten rescued from the mean streets. We love having her. She is so stinking cute!! Jermeen came to us with a sore on her back we needed to treat and clear up. Not sure if a burn. She had a very sore reddened mouth so she had a dental and 9 teeth pulled. This is probably due to poor health as a kitten without good care. She is so loving and sweet. Plays hard with other foster friends. We would like to see Jermeen in a loving home with another cat to play with. She has long fur so experience mantaining long hair is preferred. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Meet Moon and Carmella: A Loving Persian Pair with a Story of Hope Moon and Carmella are a beautiful, affectionate bonded pair who are ready to find a forever home together. Approximately one year old, these girls are social, playful, people-loving companions who bring twice the purrs, cuddles, and joy. Their story began in Egypt, where they belonged to a devoted animal rescuer. After being diagnosed with serious cancer, their beloved owner could no longer care for all of her animals. Although giving them up broke her heart, she entrusted Moon and Carmella to another rescuer so they could be safe, loved, and cared for. Her greatest wish is to know they are happy in a wonderful home. Now fostered in Northern Virginia, Moon and Carmella quickly make themselves at home. Once settled, they enjoy greeting visitors, exploring, playing, and joining in family life. Moon is a striking smoke gray beauty with a fluffy coat and white highlights. She loves being petted and may even reach out to pull your hand back when you stop. Carmella is a gorgeous orange girl with a plush coat and golden eyes who never meets a stranger. These best friends love interactive play, investigating their surroundings, and snuggling together when the fun is over. They must be adopted as a bonded pair. Because of their Persian-type coats, Moon and Carmella need regular grooming to prevent mats and keep them healthy. Preference will be given to adopters with Persian or long-haired cat experience. My cat is clean, soft, and litter-trained. He has a calm personality and does not bite or play rough. He can be shy around strangers and is not comfortable around young children, so he would do best in a quiet home with a patient adopter who will give him time to adjust. I want to find him a safe and loving home where he can be comfortable and well cared for. To help with the transition, I will include his automatic litter box (Petsafe) and enough food to last approximately three months.

Hi there! My name is Binky and I'm a darling young boy with a gorgeous soft fluffy coat. I'm a cutie! I'm hand shy right now, so let's take our time getting acquainted and hold off on the touchy-feely stuff. I enjoy having company and like it when you talk to me. I'm partially blind, so I appreciate it if you say hello to me and offer your hand, then I'll know you're there and won't be startled. Once I'm comfortable with you, I'm a sweet, social, affectionate and playful boy. I like to bat my pipe cleaners and little fuzzy toys around. I would also enjoy toys that make a crinkle noise or balls that jingle. I like Churus and Churu bisques. I'll need to be brushed regularly to keep me looking and feeling my best.
