Persian kittens & cats in Arlington, Virginia

Lili is a darling young black and white Persian female cat. She was rescued from the streets left to fend for herself. Suffered trauma to her back legs causing her to stumble on occasions. How can you not love her big fluffy face with those black and white markings. She looks like a female Sylvester. Lili is so sweet and lovable. Lili loves to be carried around and loved on. Such an affectionate young lady that likes to give hugs. Lili has had trauma to her back end which prevents her from jumping. We would like to see her in a home without stairs. Brooke is a gorgeous female Persian we are thrilled to have with us. Not many cats have that light silver coloring. She was found going through garbage in a dark alley looking for food. We think she is about 2 to 3 years old. Brooke hasn’t been with us very long so she is adapting to all of the change in her life. She loves to be petted and doted on. We are taking it slow with her so she can learn how to trust again. We would like to see Brooke in a home with experience caring for Persians or long haired cats. It is important their fur gets brushed. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Baybars is a very handsome, young adult rescued off the mean streets. He was wandering about looking for his next meal. He has a beautiful long haired buff and white coat. He is a big healthy boy. Baybars has a wonderful personality. He is not shy a bit. Active and loves to play with his foster friends. He likes to be brushed and doted on. We think Baybars would be fine as a solo cat with a loving family or with another gentle cat. Not tested on dogs or kids but with a good acclimation he should be fine. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Manny is a gorgeous long haired black male kitty. We think he is around 1 to 2 years old. Lived on the street but no more… Manny is full of energy. He doesn’t have a shy bone in his body. Loves people and all cats. Affectionate and loving. He can play with the best of them. We would like to see Manny go to a home with another cat so he can play and wrestle with. Not tested with dogs or kids but should be fine. Please give Manny a new loving home. Fostered in Fairfax

Lotus is a young orange and white Persian. She is gorgeous and as sweet as can be. Lotus has the cutest little face with sad eyes. She is very affectionate and loving. Gets along with other cats. We would like to see Lotus go to a home with experience caring for Persians or Himalayans. She has long fur that will need to be groomed. Fostered in Fairfax.

Ramy is a long haired, orange, young male we are thrilled to have with us. He was left in the street to fend for himself. Ramy looks just like the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz. He has the yellow eyes with an expressive face. He is a calm cat. Doesn’t get all involved with other kitties playing rough. So affectionate and loving. We would like to see Ramy in a home without another cat. It needs to be noted that Ramy will need to have his fur brush and maintained due to his long hair. Fostered in Fairfax

Note: Nova needs a new foster home - no other pets!  Nova’s Personality Meet Nova...a beautiful, affectionate, playful, and chatty girl who just wants to be close to her humans. Need a bodyguard for the bathroom? She's got you covered! Nova even checks in after you take a shower just to make sure you're okay. This sweet fluffy girl loves to cuddle up in your lap with a cozy blanket and may even curl her paws to hold your hand while she snoozes. She just wants to be your little shadow. Nova also loves playing with her humans. She chases after a laser, leaps to the highest heights to catch a tossed fluffy ball, and loves tackling feathered wand toys. She enjoys lots of petting and even being brushed for short periods. But mostly, she just wants to curl up close by, knowing you will keep her safe. What Type of Home Nova Needs Nova needs a quieter home without other pets or young children - now or in the future. An older child in a quiet home would be fine if the child knows how to interact with cats. She needs to have a stable, loving home that will give her a little time to adapt. Nova may be shy at first with new people, but she quickly warms up to a peaceful, loving home environment. Where Nova Came From Nova was recently adopted from a shelter by a kind woman who has given her a loving home. However, her resident cat has decided he doesn’t want another cat in their home. To give Nova the right home environment, SPCA has agreed to find Nova a new home that gives her the peace and stability she needs to thrive. Nova was in her original home since she was a kitten until her family added two other cats, a dog and two children to their home. When Nova didn't adapt well to these changes, they surrendered her to a shelter. PLEASE NOTE:  we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA.
