Story
Mitah (My-tah) was surrendered to our shelter from a neglectful situation where there were too many dogs, and she wasn't getting enough to eat. As a result of this, Mitah has a strong food drive. Because of this, we are looking for a home for her without small children at this time. Although she lived with other dogs in her previous home, the environment seemed quite stressful, and she is now more dog selective. This means she that may be comfortable with some dogs, but not others. If you already have another dog at home, we'll have you bring them to meet her, prior to an adoption. We also think that she may enjoy being your one and only pup too though! Mitah enjoys going for walks and stretching her legs in the play yard, but she also really seems to enjoy just being with people. Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). ** Adopt her on Fluffy Dog Friday and her adoption fee will be waived! ** ** Mitah would do best in a home without small children ** ## See video of Mitah at the end of the photo gallery ## TVAR.org/find-your-pet-adopt/dogs-puppies/ Mitah’s Shelter ID# is 75470. She's an approximately 4-year-old, grey and white, Siberian Husky mix. She currently weighs 45 lbs. She is already vaccinated, microchipped and spayed and is ready to go to her new home! Mitah is located in kennel A-1. ** Age shown is an estimate only ** THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING If you are interested, please call the East County Animal Shelter at 925-803-7040 to see if this dog is still available.

**Meet Louise Saturday, June 14th from 10 to 1 at Dublin Petsmart west, 6960 Amador Plaza Rd.** ❤️ Expert Cuddler. Belly-rubs Pundit. Love Guru.❤️ If there was a doggo masterclass on “How to Win Hearts,” I would be teaching it! 🥰 Hello, I’m Louise! I’m an endearingly cute, endlessly cheerful, and delightfully goofy Siberian Husky Mix girl. I’m about three years old, tipping the scales at a svelte 52 lbs. Affectionately nicknamed “Princess” for my beauty and grace, I’ve captured everyone’s hearts. 👑 In fact, word on the pee-mails is that my volunteer fans may launch a new series about me called “Everybody Loves Louise.” 😎 Picture me as the perfect blend of beauty and charm, strutting into your life with Robert Palmer’s “Simply Irresistible” playing in the background. The first things you will notice are my soulful, bluest blue eyes and this gorgeous snow-white coat, so soft that you’ll want to run your fingers through it and keep them there. I’ll have you smiling ear to ear as I bound towards you and then promptly roll over, gently nudging your hand for a belly rub. 😂 My favorite things to do are following my volunteer buddies around the yard, giving and receiving expert-level cuddles, and getting those steps in as I bunny-hop about the yard. Another to-do on top of my list is lounging under the sun and getting my fur brushed by a volunteer buddy. 🐾 And does this beauty have brains? You bet! 👍I already know how to "Sit" and go “Down.” I walk nicely on a leash, too! If I get a little excited when I spot a squirrel or a bird during a walk, just call me and I’m right back to following your lead. I can be picky about treats, but my motivation comes from you - I’m eager to listen and learn whenever I get to spend more time with you. And when I do take treats, I take them ever so gently. 🙂 I love greeting my fellow shelter doggos through the yard fence. If you have a doggo, please bring them for a supervised, on-leash meet-and-greet. 🐶🐶 I see myself with a family or person who enjoys staying active. And when it's time to kick back and relax, I’ll probably be cuddling on the couch with you for some quality Netflixing and chilling. And just a heads up - because of my breed and instincts, I’m not the best match for a home with pet birds or small animals. IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN LOVELY LOUISE, AN APPLICATION IS REQUIRED. You can submit an application by clicking the "Apply For Adoption box " located below her photos on the right side. Story
Jebediah is a striking 2-year-old Husky with a unique charm and a heart full of goofy energy, just waiting for his perfect forever home. This handsome boy is an explorer at heart, much preferring to sniff out every interesting scent and discover new environments than to be the center of attention. While Jebediah isn`t one for a lot of fuss or handling, he`s a master of subtle communication. He`s looking for a family who understands and respects his need for personal space and will let him come to them on his own terms. Don`t mistake his independence for aloofness, though! When a toy comes into play, Jebediah transforms into a whirlwind of happy zoomies! He absolutely adores chasing after anything thrown and will show off his silly, playful side. Due to his independent nature and preference for a calmer environment, Jebediah would likely thrive in a home with teens and up who can appreciate his unique Husky personality. If you`re looking for an adventurous companion who loves to explore, enjoys a good game of fetch, and will make you laugh with his unexpected goofy moments, Jebediah might just be the boy for you!
