Story
Rescued: 3/17/2023 Age at time of rescue: 3 days old Current weight: 42 pounds Meet Kimmy – Gentle, Quiet, and Learning What Love Feels Like Kimmy is a sweet, soft-natured girl who came to us with very little socialization. Because of her past, she was initially uncomfortable with touch, but with training and patience she is slowly learning to allow gentle handling at her own pace. She is not aggressive at all — just unsure — and she quietly navigates the world while building trust one step at a time. What Makes Kimmy Special • Naturally well-behaved and calm • Housebroken and keeps her space clean • Walks nicely on a leash and enjoys peaceful walks • Knows “sit” and “down” and is learning “place” • Loves Benebones, antlers, and quiet time • Non-aggressive and very respectful of her surroundings • A gentle soul who observes the world with curiosity What Kimmy Needs Kimmy does best with a confident, friendly dog to show her the world is safe. A calm home, patient adopter, and slow, positive experiences will help her continue to gain confidence and trust. She may never be a cuddly lap dog, but she can be a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a quiet presence and steady routines. Who Kimmy Is Looking For Kimmy is searching for someone who is comfortable going slow and earning trust over time. A home with a stable dog and an understanding heart would be ideal for her. Ready to Meet Kimmy? If you believe love can be built gently and patiently, Kimmy may be the perfect match. We would love to introduce you and help her take the next brave step toward her forever home. Thank you for considering a dog in need! Please go to our website at www.satoheartrescue.org to download our application. The adoption fee is $500.00 which can be paid in cash or check. We look forward to working with you! PLEASE DO NOT send an INQUIRY THROUGH ADOPT-A-PET. Due to the volume of emails we receive, we will not be able to reply.

Story
IDGSR Welcomes NOVA into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Nova and I'm a sweet 4-6yr old female Shepherd/Malinois mix gal. I am located near Nashville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 4-6yrs old Kids - will do fine with older kids (10+) Dogs - good with large male dogs Cats - NO cats Training - needs standard obedience training 1. My story is pretty sad. I was chained to a tree with no interaction, used for breeding. I had my last litter of puppies (all have been adopted) and now it's my turn! 2. My foster mom estimates my age to be about 4-6yrs old. We aren't quite sure but because of my hard upbringing, I have a little more gray on my face. 3. I enjoy taking walks, exploring in the backyard, playing with other large breed dogs, and resting with my foster mom. 4. I would love to find a person/family who will take me on walks, tell me I'm the bestest girl in the world, and show me what a loving family really is. 5. I could benefit from obedience training. I'm a cross between two very intelligent breeds so I'll catch on super quick. Also, training will help us bond! 6. If you are looking for a resilient, loving, friendly, sweet, and loyal new companion - I'm your girl! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY!
