Story
Lotus was brought home by my thirteen year olds suns friend from the carolinas in december. He could not keep her due to the landlord. My brother fostered her , but then his wife got pregnant so they cannot give their full attention to this beautiful dog. I had her many a weekend's and i've fallen in love with her. But i'm moving out at the end of the month and cannot keep her. I'm glad my family and I were able to foster her and keep her loved and fed and played with.... She is strong. She needs to run a lot.She does listen , she does sit , she does give paws. She is the sweetest little velcro dog. Please someone find it in your heart to love her and take her home.Please.

Story
Meet Loki!Loki would like to clear up a few rumors. Yes, he has argued with his leash by biting and tugging on it. Yes, he has strong opinions about where walks should go. And yes, he has enough energy to power a small town. This handsome husky mix came to the shelter when his adopters (from another rescue) realized that Loki was a too high-octane dog and was much more exuberant than they were prepared for. No hard feelings, though. Loki is simply looking for people who speak fluent `busy dog.`Loki is very smart, athletic, and always ready for the next activity. He loves puzzle toys, enrichment games, training challenges, and anything that gives his busy brain something to do. A run, a hike, a game of fetch, or a new adventure? Sign him up. When bored, he can get up to mischief, like his namesake.Loki is looking for an experienced home with active people who understand energetic ,smart working-type dogs. He would do best without young children, though older teens with dog experience may be a fit. He may also be able to live with another dog after a successful meet.If your idea of fun involves muddy shoes, tired legs, and a happy dog at the end of the day, Loki is ready to be your adventure partner. Please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm during our walk-in hours if you are interested in adopting Loki.

🚨 BEAUTIFUL HUSKY SEEKING HER FOREVER HOME 🐺❤️ Meet Nova — a gorgeous almost 3-year-old Husky with stunning white, gray, and black markings, piercing eyes, and the sweetest personality once she trusts you. At 50 pounds, she’s the perfect mix of playful energy and affectionate cuddle bug. Nova LOVES hugs, kisses, toys, balls, frisbees, and being with her people. She still has puppy energy and would thrive with an active person or family ready to give her the love, structure, and attention she has missed for much of her life. Unfortunately, Nova spent most of her life either tethered or crated, and was rescued by her neighbors who are currently fostering her. She deserves a home where she can finally feel safe, free, and included. A secure fenced-in yard is a MUST because this girl has classic Husky wanderlust and can be an escape artist if not carefully managed. Since she was rescued, she has already made amazing progress: ✔️ Crate trained ✔️ Appears house trained ✔️ Learning commands like sit and lay down ✔️ Improving on leash walking ✔️ Loves to play with toys and other dogs after slow introductions Nova is incredibly sweet, submissive, affectionate, and eager to bond. She has so much potential in the right home: one that understands the Husky breed, can provide structure and exercise, and is committed to continuing her training and helping her feel secure❤️ If you are interested in finding out more about Nova, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Nova is being fostered in Spencer, MA. The adoption fee is $500. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Meet Buddy, a handsome 55-pound’ish Husky mix who approaches life with one simple philosophy: everyone is my friend until proven otherwise. Dogs? Friends. Kids? Friends. Strangers? Obviously friends. Buddy is the kind of dog who walks through life assuming every living creature is there to play with him. He's incredibly friendly, outgoing, and always ready to make a new acquaintance. He's great with other dogs and he's also good with kids, though his excitement can occasionally exceed his body awareness. When Buddy gets excited, expect happy hops and enough enthusiasm to power a small city. Buddy is also interested in cats, though from his perspective they're simply tiny dogs who haven't realized they want to play yet. He'll try to engage them in friendship activities, but he's not aggressive, just optimistic about the concept of interspecies bonding. The cats are still reviewing his friendship application. If you're looking for a dog who greets every day with joy, every person with enthusiasm, and every opportunity with a wagging tail, Buddy is ready to be your new best friend. And if you happen to bring him home before June 25, you'll get to celebrate his 2nd birthday together. 🎂🐾💙 If you are interested in finding out more about Buddy, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Buddy is currently in Grafton, MA.
