Story
Meet Baylee, a silly, playful and adventurous shepherd mix. There is nothing Baylee loves more than playing with toys (especially in the snow- she’s a huge fan). She is a true fetch fanatic and could spend all day with her favorite tennis balls and stuffies. She even carries them with her on walks!! She is incredibly food motivated and loves to learn.Baylee is super smart and has already mastered sit, paw and down. While she is still learning to calmly walk on leash she has made great progress. Baylee has enjoyed going on hikes with her favorite staff members and would thrive in an active home where she has the opportunities to get all her energy out. Due to her size and exuberant personality, she would do best in a home with older teens who are big enough that she can romp around and continue training with. She would prefer to be the only dog so she can soak up every minute of attention but might be able to have dog friends. If you are interested in adopting Baylee, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-3:45pm. Please bring everyone who would live Baylee. Please email dogs@worcestearl.org to see what other times may be available if you are unable to come during the above hours

Story
Meet Hunter! Hunter is approximately 1.5 year old, 47 lbs currently and he may have some Shepherd in his mix. He was found as a stray running loose at a wildlife refuge in the south. In his southern foster home, he is doing great with his important life skills like house training, crate training and leash walking. He could go to a home with other dogs, dog-savvy cats and kids 10+.His foster says, `Hunter is a wonderful pup!! He loves attention and getting petted! He thinks he’s a lap dog.He loves to play with the other dogs. He does not care for an overly playful puppy. But he does very well with a bigger dog that’s older. He needs a fenced in yard as he loves to be outside with all the pup toys and sun himself! We spend a lot of time outside and he loves that. Hunter is learning all the important stuff like potty training, crate training, keeping 4 paws on the floor, and leash training. He does have an accident from time to time but is almost potty trained. The crate training is going well. He sleeps in the crate at night with a night light. I think he might be a little scared of the dark. He will bark a little bit but settles down after a few minutes. He is still learning to keep 4 paws on the floor. And for that reason I think he would do awesome with a 10 or older kid! He might accidentally scare a smaller child. He loves to go on walks and does very well with the leash!! He also does well in public. Very good at vets office and he’s been to Tractor Supply a few times and loved it! He’s getting used to car rides. He just lays in the seat like a good boy! He has been around my cat and chases him for fun. So he would do well with a dog savvy cat! Hunter has been a joy to foster! He has a lot of love to give and will make a great addition to someone’s family.`He is available for adoption in Hopkinton or Arlington by appointment with an approved adopter. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

He is a higher energy puppy and needs an active family. He also has separation anxiety when left home alone and needs a home where people are around all the time. If you love the outdoors, he is your boy!`He is available for adoption in Upton or Hopkinton, MA.
