Story
Meet Parson — a 4-month-old German Shepherd mix who somehow skipped the “chaos gremlin” stage of puppyhood and went straight to “gentle, snuggly marshmallow.” 🐶💛 This sweet boy has mastered the art of balance: • Zoomies? Yes, but tasteful ones. • Playtime? He has yet to meet a toy he doesn’t like. • Cuddle breaks? Mandatory and frequent. Parson currently weighs about 20 pounds of pure softness, with a plush coat, floppy ears, and the sweetest face. He adores other dogs, worships toys, and believes that the best place to rest is right up against you… or on you… or halfway in your lap, depending on his mood. If you’re looking for a puppy who’s equal parts playful and snuggly, with a heart as big as his future paws, Parson is ready to steal your spot on the couch — and your heart. 💕 If you are interested in finding out more about Parson, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Parson is being fostered in Leominster, MA. The adoption fee is $600. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Meet Jackie! Jackie is approximately 1 year old, 52 lbs currently and she is a Mutt! She was found as a stray. She is working hard on her house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 5+ and other young dogs. She has not been exposed to cats. Her foster says, `Jackie was a big favorite of workers at the shelter. Someone actually cried when I picked her up to foster but Jackie was getting depressed in the kennel. She loves being in a home with other dogs and kids coming over to play. She occasionally jumps up on you when you come home but otherwise is not a problem. She loves to chew on treats/bones and toys. She is not aggressive with other dogs. She is beautiful too! Even though Jackie is the biggest dog of 6 in my house, she is submissive to the other dogs.`She is available for adoption in Foxboro, MA or Hopkinton, MA. Story
Meet Beep! Beep is approximately 8 months old, 52 lbs currently and she may have some Shepherd in her mix! She was part of an unwanted litter. In her foster home, she is doing great with house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 5+ and other dogs. She has not been exposed to cats. Her foster says, `Beep is such a friendly, loving, affectionate, playful girl. She loves a good ball chase, a game of tug, sniffing to find treats, or just a good cuddle session while watching TV. People and dogs are friends as far as she’s concerned. She is very smart and can easily be trained to do tricks and or agility type games. She would do best with a family that would love to just pet her and play with her and even sleep with her if possible. She is available for adoption in Boston, MA or Hopkinton, MA. Story
Introducing.... drum roll please....dadadada... BACON!! This energetic, fun-loving boy will always keep you moving. Bacon is a German Shepard mix that we rescued a couple of years ago as he was at a high kill shelter and we know how that goes for so many loving pets. With intentions to rehome him sooner after saving him, he has just been so much fun and a wonderful friend to our other rescues, but now with a growing family we just don't have the time to give to Bacon with all his boundless energy and hoping to find that loving home that can give this boy a run for his money....literally run run! Bacon always loves to play ball and fetch with any kind of ball you can find, especially a nice football or soccer ball, that he will likely POP!. Bacon just looooves to chase little animals, including little dogs, so he is suited for only medium to larger dogs if you have other dogs at home. And of course he is such a snuggle bug on the couch, and he will happily take over your entire bed!!
