Story
Pluto is full of LOVE and ENERGY. 3 years old. He loves to play ball and LOVES TO CUDDLE. He loves walks and adventure. Loves to eat but eats way more than his little body can process so I feed him with a slow-feeder and I am mindful how much food I feed him. He is on a salmon and pea diet which seems to be what his digestive tract can tolerate And he loves milk biscuits. He does well at doggy play days. He is a super sweet dog. If someone could take both of them, that would be amazing. I am a caretaker at the moment and traveling back and forth a lot so it is getting expensive boarding wise.

Theo is a 6 year-old neutered male, 64lb Shepherd mix that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 7/28 as a stray. Like I was saying he has made a complete turnaround because once he did get in the yard, he was galloping, prancing and almost bouncing happily back-and-forth. He was so happy he didn’t even want to come to me for petting. He just wanted to frolic. It was hot out, so I took him back into the meet and greet room. That’s when we became better acquainted. He came to me for petting. He’s real sweet and affectionate. He has love to give and wants to be loved in return. He did his business in the yard, and he may be housebroken. He now walks relatively well on a leash. Besides that he said he would like to snuggle inside on the couch with his new family.

Rupert is a four-year-old neutered male black and tan German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix weighing 50lbs that was brought into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 4/11 as a stray. Rupert is a frisky, active, curious boy that has a lot of love to give. He is unsure of why he is at the shelter, and easy to see how much he wants to find a loving family. He is friendly, affectionate, and well mannered. He wants to please. He knows the sit command and takes treats gently. He walked OK on a leash. He did his business in the yard. Rupert didn`t show any interest in the other dogs barking at him, yet we do always ask if there is another pup in the home, for a dog test. One look in his beautiful golden brown eyes lets you know what a loyal loving companion he would make. Come meet Rupert!
