Story
We have had Zeus since he was a puppy. Originally, he was my brother’s dog, but when my brother joined the Air Force, I took Zeus in and have cared for him ever since. Unfortunately, after the past two years, I am no longer able to give Zeus the time and attention he deserves. Zeus is a loving, loyal dog with a playful personality and plenty of energy. He was born in 2019 and is approximately 7 years old. He would do best in a home where he can receive lots of attention, exercise, and companionship. This is a very difficult decision for me because Zeus is a great dog, but he spends most of the day alone, and I know he deserves a family that can give him more time and affection. My goal is to find Zeus a loving forever home where he can thrive and be a cherished member of the family. :(

Story
Amos got to us after he had to go from the animal shelter to the vet clinic for an amputation. We don’t know why his front left leg was so damaged. We do know that the night of his surgery he managed to rip out all of his stitches and laid his head on the vet tech’s shoulder while getting wrapped for repair surgery the next morning.He is not quite a typical Husky as he’s very laid back. He doesn’t use his voice near as often as most Huskies although he does have a little growl in his conversational voice which isn’t nearly as off-putting as it might sound.Amos has great house manners, does fine on a leash, and would be a perfect go-everywhere boy for his family. He adores his humans and is very loving and outgoing. He is a social boy and meeting new people and animals is easy for him. He’s fine with cats and seems to ignore the livestock kids at his foster home.He is very engaged with his humans and loves to be as close when he doesn’t want to spend time watching the world go by from his perch on the porch. He will often ask to sleep outside but is willing to do what his human feels is best.Amos is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and current with flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Bingo is a three-year-old, 70 lbs. German Shepherd mix. He was found stray and his owner never surfaced so now we're helping him find a forever family! Bingo is great with other dogs and older kids.. He loves to be around people and will play fetch as long as you'll let him. He knows commands such as sit, stay and lay down. Bingo is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. He's also already house trained and walks fairly well on a leash. Bingo's adoption fee is $275 and you can apply to meet/adopt him here: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society He loves to be around people and is kind of obsessed with playing ball...lol. He shakes hands, sits, and stays most of the time...lol. He will walk on a leash, but honestly has not done it a lot. We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Cash came to the rescue when the shelter sent him to have his fractured leg amputated at our vet clinic. He had been shot, and we have no idea of the other abuse he had suffered, but he is initially afraid of new men (fine once he learns they mean him no harm). While he is not an aggressive boy, he acts as if he could tear into someone, which can be off-putting. He is fine with women, loving, outgoing, and cuddly, especially with his foster mom. We are helping him work onhis fear, which can/will be resolved with patience and TLC.Cash lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone, large and small. He is playful and happy, can be as gentle or rough as needed, depending on who he is playing with. He walks fine on a leash and is good at going for rides when he gets a chance.He is crate trained and asks to go out if needed between potty breaks. He generally has good house manners, except when he counter-surfs for food when the opportunity presents itself.Cash is fully vetted, current with vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention.
