Story
Meet BelizeBelize is a beautiful orange tabby with a gentle soul and soft, thoughtful eyes. Though she may be a little shy when you first meet her, beneath that quiet exterior is an incredibly sweet and loving girl who just needs a little time to feel safe. Once she trusts you, Belize shows her tender heart in the sweetest ways.Belize came from a difficult hoarding situation where she was living in poor conditions and didn’t receive the care every cat deserves. Despite her rough start, she has shown remarkable resilience. Before being spayed, she miscarried a litter of kittens, but she has since recovered very well and is now healthy, comfortable, and truly thriving. She’s ready to leave her past behind and begin a new chapter filled with warmth, stability, and love. With a cozy spot to curl up in, gentle affection, and a family willing to give her time, she will blossom into a devoted and loyal companion.Belize has been through more than any cat should, but she hasn’t lost her sweet spirit. Now she’s simply waiting for someone to show her what a safe, happy forever home feels like. Could you be the one to give Belize the fresh start she so deserves?Adoption fee includes:&#226&#156&#133 Spay/Neuter&#226&#156&#133 Vaccines&#226&#156&#133 Microchip&#226&#156&#133 Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Belize?Email us at: adoption@columbiahumane.org to request an application.Adoption Fee: $175For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgFebruary 14, 2026, 6:10 am

Story
Sweet RosieJust like her name, Rosie is as sweet as a rose! This affectionate beauty was found caring for her kittens and brought into a loving foster home where she could raise them safely. Now that her babies are grown, Rosie is fully vetted—spayed, tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy—and ready to begin a life of her own.Rosie loves being close to her person. She gently rubs against her foster’s legs for attention, happily soaks up chin and cheek scratches, and follows her foster around the house like a little shadow. At bedtime, she curls up on the bed for cozy snuggles. She’s also playful and energetic—she’ll chase her favorite string toy endlessly and zoom after tossed balls and toy mice with delight.Rosie would thrive as an only cat, but she’s shown curiosity toward other felines and will likely do well with a friendly male kitty after a slow, thoughtful introduction. She’s not expected to be a good fit with dogs, as she has no known experience with them.A wonderful blend of affection and fun, Rosie will make a loving, devoted companion for the lucky person who brings her home.To learn more or inquire about adopting Rosie, please email Patricia at dpcadams@comcast.net.For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgFebruary 15, 2026, 6:12 am

Story
Meet Meo A breathtaking blue-eyed lynx point beauty with a heart as soft as her fur. And yes… those crystal-clear blue eyes are just slightly cross-eyed, which somehow makes her even more charming. It’s the kind of look that melts you instantly and makes you wonder how you ever lived without her.Meo is a sweet, affectionate girl who truly loves people. She’s the type to lean into your hand for pets, follow you from room to room, and happily supervise whatever you’re doing. She enjoys attention and isn’t shy about asking for it — expect gentle nudges, loving glances, and a devoted little shadow by your side. When it comes to other cats, Meo prefers to be the queen of her castle. She doesn’t always appreciate feline roommates and would likely do best as the only cat in the home, where she can soak up all the love, sunny spots, and admiration she deserves. If you’re looking for a stunning, people-oriented companion with adorable slightly cross-eyed blue eyes and a sweet, loving personality, Meo might just be your perfect match.Adoption fee includes:&#226&#156&#133 Spay/Neuter&#226&#156&#133 Vaccines&#226&#156&#133 Microchip&#226&#156&#133 Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Meo?Email us at: adoption@columbiahumane.org to request an application.Adoption Fee: $175For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgFebruary 22, 2026, 6:09 am
