Story
Ariel and her daughter Amelia are a stunning tabby pair with a special bond — one that’s a little more “roommates who respect each other’s space” than “attached at the hip.” They’re both affectionate, playful, and curious. They are confident and enjoy meeting new people. While they sometimes bicker like family members do, they’re learning to share space and comfort. Just recently, they started sleeping on the same bed together with their humans— a big milestone for these two independent spirits! * * Ariel & Amelia must be adopted together. * * Mama Ariel is gentle, thoughtful, and affectionate on her own terms. She enjoys being held over your shoulder, especially when she’s feeling social, and she’s known to meow for attention at bedtime before hopping up for pets and play. Her amber eyes and darker tabby markings make her look especially elegant in a patch of sunlight, where she loves to lounge. Daughter Amelia is the more assertive of the two — a curious, confident girl who likes to climb right into your lap or claim your desk chair as her own. She’s affectionate, playful, and a little mischievous, with striking greenish eyes and a sleek tabby coat. Ariel and Amelia enjoy each other’s company most when they can do their own thing nearby — playing, napping, or watching the world go by from opposite ends of the couch. They’re a wonderful pair for someone who appreciates cats with personality, independence, and just a touch of sass. Ariel is about 2 years old, and her daughter Amelia is about 1 year old. They have been spayed, microchipped, and are up to date on vaccines. They tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $150 for both. If you are interested in meeting Ariel & Amelia please complete the adoption interest form on our website (www.pdx-petadoption.org) and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark. Animal Rescue & Care Fund is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering our pets for adoption.

Rocky and Raina are gorgeous kitten siblings ready to meet the family who will take them home and love them forever! Rocky and Raina are very bonded and will be adopted as a pair. They are about 4 months old. **Rocky and Raina will only be adopted as a pair. ** These are loving, playful, and confident. Like all teenage kittens, they have a lot of energy, but when playtime is over, they are very happy to cuddle up with each other and their people. They are curious, interested in what everybody in the house is up to, and they enjoy greeting guests. Rocky and Raina will expect to be welcomed to sleep on the bed with the people in their new home. They get along well with the adult cats and the big mellow dog in their foster home. Rocky and Raina are in excellent health and have no special needs, except for plenty of love, and a comfy perch by a window with a good view of the cat TV show outdoors. All of our cats and kittens for adoption have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV. The adoption fee is $150 for a pair.
