Story
We have been fostering this sweet kitty for a several months after her owner left the country. Unfortunately their owner is no longer able to send for her so we must find a permanent home for her. She is 4 yrs old, weighs about 10 lbs, and is loving and chatty once she gets her bearings.

Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home.Hi, I'm Beth! I'm one of those cats who believes the best relationships are worth waiting for. I've discovered I need a moment to assess the situation before diving into the whole "being adorable" thing. But don't worry - once I figure out you're as wonderful as you seem, I transform into a gentle love bug who melts at soft pets and quiet conversations. I've had enough experience with cats to know that I'm not super comfortable with them or getting to know them, so I'd prefer to live without them. Here's what you need to know about me:I'm a special placement cat. I'm pretty particular about my perfect home and my family may need to stick around for awhile to learn all about my needs. My adoption process may take a little longer, but I'm worth the time!I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.If there are kids in my new home, I prefer them to be older than 6 and would like to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.I need a home without cats. We just don't get along - even if they don't mind me, I can't be in the same home with them. I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.Here's what you need to know about me:I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.I can be nervous around new people. It just takes me a little while to get comfortable. But once I get to know you, I'm very loving.I have some handling sensitivity. It really scares me to be picked up, I like all 4 paws on a stable surface and will do my best to get there. My human friends at the shelter can tell you more!If there are kids in my new home, I need them to be older than 6 and would like to meet them before going home. I do best with even older kids since I have handling sensitivity. An adoption counselor can tell you more. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 10.53125 Age: 3yrs 1mths 0wks
