Story
MEOW! I'm FENNEC, a 5-year-old handsome tabby boy who needs a foster or forever home. I have a sweet personality and beautiful green eyes! I was rescued from a California shelter, and then tested FIV-positive, which only means I need to be the only cat in your home. But I'm a healthy boy and I love human attention and affection. I'm a friendly fellow who loves to be held and cuddled. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm all purrs and head rubs. I'm a gentle soul, mellow and easy-going. I promise to bring a touch of tranquility to your life. Can you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in Southern California but can be transported to Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
My mother recently passed away and left behind three cats: Para, Dahlia, and Rosie. Para, who is 2 years old, is the mother of Dahlia and Rosie, who are both 1 year old. They are a very close-knit family and do everything together, eating, sleeping, playing, and even going on walks. They are indoor/outdoor cats, typically sleeping inside and exploring outdoors during the day. In the winter, they spend more time indoors. Despite their strong bond with each other, they are also very friendly and affectionate with people, especially Dahlia. Para is very nurturing and often starts playful wrestling with her daughters. You’ll frequently find all three cuddled up together on a chair. They are low-maintenance cats and just need regular feeding and litter box cleaning. We would love for them to stay together, so we are looking for a home willing to adopt all three

These cats are in Saint Helens, Oregon too!

Story
Meet Whitaker! Whitaker is the perfect combination of sweet and spunky. This handsome grey-and-white kitten may have had a rough start in life, but you would never know it from his playful spirit and loving personality.Whitaker was found living under a house with a severe eye infection. As he received treatment, it was also discovered that he has entropion, a condition where the eyelid rolls inward, causing the eyelashes to rub against the surface of the eye. While it's uncomfortable, the good news is that entropion can be corrected with surgery, and we'll be arranging that procedure soon.Through it all, Whitaker has remained a happy, affectionate little guy. He loves to play, explore, and spend time with people, and he hasn't let his eye condition slow him down one bit. His resilience and cheerful attitude are truly inspiring.Whitaker is available for adoption now! His future family will simply need to partner with us to get him to his surgery appointments and help with his post-operative care. We'll be there to guide you through the process so he can make a full recovery. This little trooper has already overcome so much, and now all he needs is a loving home where he can continue to thrive. If you're looking for a kitten with a brave heart, a playful spirit, and endless love to give, Whitaker is ready to become your newest family member.*Kittens under the age of 16 weeks must be homed with another cat or adopted in pairs for their social developmentAdoption fee includes:✅ Spay/Neuter✅ Vaccines✅ Microchip✅ Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Whitaker?Email us at: adoption@columbiahumane.org to request an application.Adoption Fee: $175For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgJuly 13, 2026, 5:45 pm

Story
Meet Cayenne — A beautiful torbie (tabby with a splash of orange) girl with a little dash of spice and a whole lot of love. When Cayenne first arrived at the shelter, she was understandably scared and unsure of people. After everything she had been through, her “spicy” side was really just fear and uncertainty.Cayenne was heartbreakingly abandoned after her previous owner moved away, left behind to survive in deplorable conditions. During that difficult time, she lost weight and some of her fur, but despite it all, she has never lost her gentle spirit. Now that she’s safe and cared for, Cayenne has truly blossomed. She has become incredibly sweet, affectionate, and eager for attention. She loves gentle pets, cozy places to nap, and simply being near people who make her feel secure. With patience, kindness, and a loving home, Cayenne will reward her person with endless affection and companionship. This resilient girl deserves a fresh start with someone who will never leave her behind again. Could you be the one to give Cayenne the safe, loving forever home she’s been waiting for?Adoption fee includes:✅ Spay/Neuter✅ Vaccines✅ Microchip✅ Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Cayenne?Email us at: adoption@columbiahumane.org to request an application.Adoption Fee: $175For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgJuly 13, 2026, 5:45 pm
