Story
Naruto was taken in just weaned from a feral litter. She has a brother, Sasuke, and it would be great for them to go to the same home together, but not required. She will be five years old in April 2026. She is very confident and curious, great as an indoor/outdoor cat. Once she warms up to you she will follow you around and watch you go about your day. He favorite spot is on your lap or in a high place where she can observe everything.

Story
Sasuke was barely weaned when he came from a feral litter. He is about five years old, and will do best in a home with his sister from the same litter, Naruto. He is scared easily and needs extra patience and time with new people. Once he warms up he is very loving and will use his paws to lead hands to pet his head. This gentle boy grew up with rowdy kids and a dog. It may take him time to adjust to it in a new environment, but a loving home will bring his confidence back out and you will find a great companion that sits for treats.

Story
Scarlett is around 2 old. She is extremely loving & playful. She would do best in a home with older kids and/or adults. She loves to sleep on your chest & purr. LOVES to talk (not in an annoying way but her sweet little sounds are a mix between a grumbly purr and a meow). Prefers indoors but is curious of outdoors & does enjoy exploring. Her favorite toys are (specifically)fluffy caterpillars with bells &anything dangly but be mindful of your fingers because she does use her claws to catch lol! Loves to tap you to get pet, if you have your back turned and she would like a pet she will probably lay her paw on your back or tap to get your attention. She can be leash trained as we did a bit of that and she seems to go with a harness pretty well. She has had a litter or two in the past. She loves to be stretched, you hold under her arms and lift upward and she does happy little shakes. She loves to just lay on you and be pet so if you want an affectionate cat shes perfect

Story
Sweet RosieJust like her name, Rosie is as sweet as a rose! This affectionate beauty was found caring for her kittens and brought into a loving foster home where she could raise them safely. Now that her babies are grown, Rosie is fully vetted—spayed, tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy—and ready to begin a life of her own.Rosie loves being close to her person. She gently rubs against her foster’s legs for attention, happily soaks up chin and cheek scratches, and follows her foster around the house like a little shadow. At bedtime, she curls up on the bed for cozy snuggles. She’s also playful and energetic—she’ll chase her favorite string toy endlessly and zoom after tossed balls and toy mice with delight.Rosie would thrive as an only cat, but she’s shown curiosity toward other felines and will likely do well with a friendly male kitty after a slow, thoughtful introduction. She’s not expected to be a good fit with dogs, as she has no known experience with them.A wonderful blend of affection and fun, Rosie will make a loving, devoted companion for the lucky person who brings her home.To learn more or inquire about adopting Rosie, please email Patricia at dpcadams@comcast.net.For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgMarch 7, 2026, 1:53 pm

Story
Meet Baldwin, A gentle soul with a heart as soft as his fur. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion, Baldwin is ready to be your devoted sidekick.Baldwin has come a long way. With care and patience, his coat has fully grown back, and he’s blossomed into a healthy, content cat who clearly appreciates the comforts of a loving home. One of Baldwin’s most charming features is his polydactyl paws—his oversized front “mitts” make him extra special and add to his laid-back, teddy bear-like presence. He’ll happily use those big paws to gently reach out for pets or knead away when he’s feeling especially cozy.Because of his mellow nature, Baldwin would do best in a quiet, low-stress home. He thrives in peaceful environments where he can relax, feel safe, and build a close bond with his person. If you’re ready to open your home to a sweet, resilient cat who just wants love and a calm place to call his own, Baldwin might be the perfect match.*Baldwin is currently being housed at Purrs and Paws pet store in Scappoose.
