Story
Flame is a snuggly boy, enjoys being the center of attention. His coat is soft, with beautiful colors. It’s not his loving personality or his handsome coat that is unique - it’s the little black heart on his foot. He is truly one of a kind. Flame was a feral boy living outside and trapped. When he was in recovery the trapper found out he was friendly, so when I went to pick him up he was rubbing up to my finger and never stopped after this. He is constantly cuddling and wrapping around your legs or knees if you’re sitting. Considering Flame for adoption?

Mama cat found us when she was very pregnant. She had 5 healthy kittens and is now kitten free and fixed. We kept one kitten and have two others. She is ready for a good home. We aren’t asking for a re homing fee. Just a good home. The vet says she’s probably only two years old.

Story
Age: 6 years He has one eye and is missing most of his teeth due to a past gum issue but that doesn’t slow him down at all! He can still eat regular cat food with no problem. Temperament: Peter has food aggression, so he would do best in a home without young children and with someone who can feed him separately and understand his boundaries. Cats: Doesn’t get along with other cats Dogs: Has never been around dogs, so his reaction is unknown Ideal Home:
A calm, patient household where he can be the only pet and feel safe. Someone experienced with cats or willing to learn about food-aggressive behavior would be perfect. Peter Parker may look a little different, but he has so much love to give. He just needs the right person to help him feel secure and adored. If you think you can offer this special boy a forever home, please reach out As soon as possible

Story
MEOW! I'm FENNEC, a 2-year-old handsome tabby boy who needs a foster or forever home. I tested FIV-positive, which only means I need to be the only cat in your home. I've got a heart full of love to share. I'm a sweet, friendly fellow with a sprinkle of curiosity. I'm smart, too, figuring out things quicker than most. I'm also a cuddly snuggler who loves a good lap to curl up on. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm all purrs and head rubs. I'm also independent, so I won't mind if you're busy sometimes. I'm a gentle soul, mellow and easy-going. I promise to bring a touch of tranquility to your life. Can you foster or adopt me?

Story
Ket was originally my brothers cat and my brother had to move due to an emergency and left the cat with me. Unfortunately I’m not able to keep him. He is a sweet loving cat and loves to chill. He is potty trained and his favorite is sitting next to a window. He is around dogs and children.

Story
Sweet RosieJust like her name, Rosie is as sweet as a rose! This affectionate 1.5-year-old beauty was found caring for her kittens and brought into a loving foster home where she could raise them safely. Now that her babies are grown, Rosie is fully vetted—spayed, tested, vaccinated, microchipped, and healthy—and ready to begin a life of her own.Rosie loves being close to her person. She gently rubs against her foster’s legs for attention, happily soaks up chin and cheek scratches, and follows her foster around the house like a little shadow. At bedtime, she curls up on the bed for cozy snuggles. She’s also playful and energetic—she’ll chase her favorite string toy endlessly and zoom after tossed balls and toy mice with delight.Rosie would thrive as an only cat, but she’s shown curiosity toward other felines and will likely do well with a friendly male kitty after a slow, thoughtful introduction. She’s not expected to be a good fit with dogs, as she has no known experience with them.A wonderful blend of affection and fun, Rosie will make a loving, devoted companion for the lucky person who brings her home.To learn more or inquire about adopting Rosie, please email Patricia at dpcadams@comcast.net.For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgDecember 1, 2025, 6:06 am
