Story
Vena is a queen cat ready to rule over your house! She has a big personality and wants to be the only cat in the house so she can have all the space and attention to herself.  It may take her some time to get comfortable and settled in a new home, but she’ll own the place quickly enough. She is incredibly curious about her environment and will explore every nook and cranny possible to get a lay of her land; especially from somewhere up high! Vena loves to play with her favorite toys string-based wand toys do the trick! She's not a cuddle bug by any means but enjoys pets and will happily hang out right beside you - all on her terms of course! Wait until you hear her motor of a purr that just keeps on going! It doesn't take much to keep Vena happy; enjoy her company, keep up with those chin scratches, and provide her with a window with a great view and she’ll make a great companion.      If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Hi, my name is Kylie! If you are looking for a super chill cat, look no further. In my 9 years I have learned comfort is key, if you give me a blanket, pillow, or a couch I will sleep in the same spot for up to 5 hours at a time. My favorite thing in the world is to be brushed, I can sit for 30 minutes while you brush my soft fur and make me beautiful. I don't make a lot of noise, and I don't know how to jump higher than the couch, I have not once stepped foot on a table or countertop.   Now that you know the highlights, I do have some medical information to share. I am FIV + but I can be in a home with other cats. Right now I live with 7 (!!) other kitties, my foster mom loves to foster! I am fine to be near them and even sniff a little bit, but sometimes kittens are just too much energy for me. Also, I am a diabetic kitty. My foster mom gives me insulin injections twice a day, but it is the easiest thing to do! I never run away or get upset, usually I even purr while I receive my injection!   I have been with my foster family for 18 months, it's so much better than being cooped up, enjoying a nice big home with blankets galore! I do think I would prefer to be an only kitty, or maybe live with another older cat or two, I am pretty easy going.    Don't let my medical needs scare you off, I am a lover and will love you unconditionally forever! Story
Hello there! I'm Jesse, your friendly neighborhood superhero cat. My story? Well, it's quite a tale. I was living the dream, climbing skyscrapers, outsmarting villains, all while maintaining my goofy charm. Then, one day, I faced my biggest challenge yet. A dastardly villain named 'Loneliness' had been causing trouble in the city. Using my quick wit and playful energy, I managed to corner him. But he played a trick, teleporting me here, to this place called Mount Purrnon. I promise to bring sweetness, cuddles, and laughter into your life. After all, every superhero needs a home base. Will you be mine? If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Reggie has spent most of his young life living in a shelter with his two siblings, Bonkers and Brett. He came into foster care a few weeks ago and has made great progress. He has been the most affected by living in a cage most of his very young life. He was so scared of people that he hid for several days. He no longer hides and he is getting better with seeking out attention, but is not quite ready to be picked up and cuddled. He is on his way to becoming a cuddle bug, but needs a little bit more time. He is a very good boy and he uses his litter box and plays well with all of his foster siblings. He does need to be with one of his siblings, or his foster brother, Pedro. Like his siblings and foster brother, Reggie is current on vaccines, including rabies, and has been dewormed. Please note that it is Fancy Cats’ policy that kittens have an age-appropriate playmate in the home. We also do not adopt kittens to families with children under six years old without seeing appropriate history/experience with cats. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchip.  If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Introducing, Lola Bean! Lola Bean is about 5 years old and 9 lbs. Sadly, Lola Bean was abandoned in a trailer with two dogs when her owner was no longer able to care for the animals. Despite her sad situation, she is a very friendly and outgoing cat! In fact, Lola Bean is so friendly that she took a scared cat named Sam under her wing at the shelter. She leads the way and loves to interact with anyone that will give her attention. This social butterfly will make a wonderful addition to any home. Lola Bean would do well on as an only cat or with another cat or dog. Interested in learning more about Lola Bean? Apply at www.novapetsalive.org/adopt.
