Hi there! I arrived at HSVC through another shelter, and I’m ready to find a loving home of my own. Before coming here, I had quite the journey. While I spent some time at another shelter, I became a mama (I arrived already pregnant) and raised my puppy who now has a family of their own. Now that my mommy duties are done, it’s finally my turn to find someone who will take care of me. I can be a little shy when meeting new people but treats help me warm up pretty quickly. Once I feel comfortable, my sweet side really comes out. I also really enjoy the company of other dogs and feel much more confident when I have a dog friend nearby. I’ve come a long way, but I’m still learning that the world can be a kind and safe place. With a little patience, kindness, and maybe a few tasty treats, I know I’ll continue to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. What I’m really hoping for now is a quiet home, a caring person, and a soft place to land. I promise I’ll give you my whole heart in return.

We are looking for a kind, stable family for our beautiful 6‑year‑old male brindle dog who can no longer stay with our family due to a change in our circumstances. He has grown up with our children and absolutely adores babies and kids – He is patient, gentle, and loves to be hugged, brushed, and included in family life.He is medium‑large in size, healthy, and has been a cherished family dog his whole life. He is fully house‑trained, knows basic manners, and is calm and well‑behaved in the home. He enjoys snuggling on the couch, lying at your feet, and playing with his toys, but he is not hyper and settles nicely after some exercise. His temperament is best described as sweet, affectionate, and loyal. He bonds closely with his people, wants to please, and would thrive with someone who will include him as part of the family. He has never lived in a shelter, and we are urgently trying to find a safe, loving home so he does not have to go through that stress.

Meet FOXY  Foxy is our beautiful brindle Presa Canario & Plott Hound mix and a proud euthanasia survivor from Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. She and her brother Eliott (also available for adoption) were both saved just in time and are now looking for loving forever homes. Foxy is about 3 years old and weighs approximately 88 lbs. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. This big, sweet girl is friendly with both people and other dogs and has a gentle, loving personality. Foxy is currently in training with our professional trainers and is doing great. She is patiently waiting for her forever home where she can be loved and cherished.
