Story
Cedar is a gentle dog, very docile. I adopted him from the Pasadena Humane Society, but he had come in with a smaller female companion who was probably his littermate. She was adopted out very quickly. Since he’s been with me, he’s been withdrawn and just wants to stay in his crate to feel safe. He can be gently pulled out to go potty outside. I think he would prefer a home with another dog that might help to show him the way. I believe that with time & training, he will be fine, particularly if he has another dog in his life. He was around my two small granddaughters and was entirely non-reactive. I’ve never heard him bark. He’s been to the vet, has all his shots, flea and tick meds, and has a good appetite.

CHARLIE: Plott Hound mix/Neutered Male/8 months old/25 lbs. CHARLIE, is a very cheerful and affectionate dog. He comes from a home where he experienced abuse, but he still likes being around people. He sleeps in a crate, gets along with other dogs, is not destructive, enjoys going for walks in the park, and shares his bed without any problem. He's an energetic dog, but walks and Playing helps him release his energy and keep him calm. He enjoys car rides, which he loves. Every dog deserves a safe and loving home — adopt a rescue dog today.
