Story

Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Sociable, easy-goingMeet Andrielle Your Easygoing, Dog-Loving Best Friend Andrielle is the kind of dog who makes life easy. At 6 years old and 40 pounds, this sweet girl has a calm, medium-energy personality and a wonderful ability to go with the flow. She adores other dogs and has lived happily with multiple foster dogs. She also regularly enjoyed shelter playgroup and is great at matching her play style to her canine friends. A doggy sibling would be a wonderful bonus for her! Andrielle has also been friendly with children under 10. She loves cuddling with her people but is equally happy entertaining herself when you’re busy. She listens well, knows come, sit, down, and off, is housetrained, and walks nicely on leash. She does have some mild-to-moderate food or environmental allergies that can make her itchy, but they don't seem to slow her down or affect her happy-go-lucky personality. Andrielle is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccines. Breed is our best guess, but we’re certain about one thing: she’s 100% good girl. Questions? clare.mcgaughey@gmail.com Ready to meet Andrielle? Apply to adopt at DoggieHarmony.org > Forms Doggie Harmony is a pet placement and matchmaking service that works with community members who are already housing a pet. Interested adopters are asked to apply at https://doggieharmony.org/forms and allow a home visit, so we can make sure each pet is a great match. Please ask the pet’s current caretaker directly about their return process, and request an adoption contract. While we can’t offer immediate intake for dogs that need to be returned, we’re always happy to help a family rehome a pet while they continue to care for it. Every match keeps a pet out of Georgia’s overcrowded shelters, where more than 30,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. *Disclaimer: Breeds are a best guess ;)November 4, 2026, 1:28 pm

Story

Cookie - 23450 - Kennel 883 - Arrived October 17, 2026 - Plott Hound mix - brindle - female - 1 year old - 58 lbs (estimated adult weight 60-70 lbs) - Will be spayed prior to adoption - Up to date on vaccines - Heartworm negative Cookie is quite the energetic girl, and her smile says it all. Her brindle coat is a rich pattern of warm brown with dark tiger stripes, her markings are beautiful, and her soft folded ears and deep brown eyes make her impossible to resist. You can tell she is a hound because her nose is always to the ground and she's on the scent during walks! She'll thrive in an active home, and would do best with a securely fenced yard so that her nose doesn't lead her away from home. Cookie arrived at Cobb Animal Services on October 17, 2026. At 1 year old and 58 pounds, she is a young, athletic girl with her whole adult life ahead of her. Based on her size and build, we estimate she’ll fill out to around 60 to 70 pounds, and the person who adopts her will be there for the rest of her growing up. All that energy is a gift for the right person. Cookie is a great running friend, and she is ready to keep pace with someone who loves to get out and move. She is house trained and dog friendly, so she is ready to join an active household and make every walk, jog, and adventure more fun. Cookie is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be spayed before she goes home. A kennel isn’t where a bright, energetic girl like Cookie belongs. She is ready for a running partner, and for the kind of happiness that comes from having a dog who is excited to see you. Come meet Cookie in kennel 883. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. Story

Meet Kylo — A 3-Year-Old Catahoula Mix Looking for His Forever Home Meet Kylo, a handsome 3-year-old Catahoula mix who is ready to find a loving person or family to call his own. Kylo can walk on a leash, although he does pull quite a bit and will benefit from continued training and patient guidance. Kylo can be nervous when meeting new people, so he will need time to feel comfortable and build trust. Because of this, we are not recommending a home with small children. He would do best with an understanding adopter who will respect his boundaries, introduce him to new people slowly, and help him gain confidence through positive, force-free training. Kylo would benefit from a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely exercise, explore, and enjoy outdoor time. A fenced yard would also provide a comfortable environment for him to settle in while he continues working on leash manners. About the Catahoula Breed Catahoula Leopard Dogs are intelligent, energetic, independent working dogs originally developed in Louisiana. They are known for their striking coats, athleticism, loyalty, and strong personalities. Catahoulas often thrive when they have structure, regular exercise, mental stimulation, and a meaningful relationship with their people. As a Catahoula mix, Kylo may have some of these breed traits, including intelligence, energy, and a need for consistent training. He will do best with an adopter who is prepared to provide daily activity, positive guidance, and opportunities to learn. Catahoulas can be devoted companions, but they may also be cautious with unfamiliar people, making patience and thoughtful socialization especially important. What Kylo Needs in a Home Kylo would do best with: • An experienced, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. • A home without small children. • A securely fenced yard for safe exercise and outdoor enjoyment. • Someone willing to work on his leash pulling with positive, force-free training. • Slow, respectful introductions to new people. • Consistency, structure, mental stimulation, and plenty of patience. • A person or family committed to helping him build confidence and become the best companion he can be. Kylo may be nervous at first, but with time, understanding, and a stable home, he has the potential to form a wonderful bond with his people. He is looking for someone who will give him the guidance and security he needs to feel safe and thrive. Kylo’s Adoption Information • Age: 3 years old • Breed: Catahoula mix • Adoption fee: $315 • Minimum adopter age: 21 years old • Home recommendation: A home without small children • Yard recommendation: A securely fenced yard would be beneficial • Training needs: Continued work on leash manners, as Kylo pulls significantly Kylo is ready for a fresh start with someone who will be patient, understanding, and committed to helping him succeed. Could you be the person he has been waiting for?
