You may or may not have to occasionally carry her when fear gets the best of her. 🤷‍♀️She is making progress and just needs some time and gentle encouragement!-Without a leash she is completely fine! She enjoyed exploring and wandering in the yard, coming over frequently to check in for pets. She likes being close to her people!-She likes treats and takes them gently. She still needs work with” sit”.-She is curious of toys and very briefly played with a stuffie-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.
