Hi, I’m Shep, and I’m from Alabama! I’m a happy, playful puppy who loves being around people and dogs! I currently live with a canine foster brother and two small humans, and love them all. Playtime is my favorite especially when someone plays with me, but I enjoy chews and puzzles too (really anything involving a treat). I’ve got a sweet, affectionate personality and never pass up a belly rub. Outside is my favorite place to explore. Every walk is an adventure filled with exciting smells, interesting sounds, and hidden treasures (sticks). I walk well on my leash with my foster brother. I have a strong instinct to investigate bunnies, birds, and squirrels, but have equally strong recall to continue on the walk once the excitement calms down. I’m extremely social and love meeting new people and dogs. Whether I’m walking around the neighborhood or enjoying an evening out at a patio, I find new friends. I’m working on my greetings but everyone has been very complimentary on my progress and my cuteness. I’m doing really well with potty training! I still have an accident every couple of days but I’m trying really hard! I like to think I make up for it by catching flies that sneak into my house. When the day winds down, I settle into my crate like a champ and sleep soundly through the night. You might forget I’m in there because I’m so silent If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, affectionate pup who will make you smile every single day, I might be your perfect match. I can’t wait to find my forever family!

Hi! My name is Naomi, and I am from Alabama! I’m a super playful and affectionate little pup who loves being close to my humans. When you’re working, I’m happiest curled up quietly beside you, just keeping you company. I’m a smart girl and already learned how to use a pee pad (though I do prefer the bigger ones, please!). I’m still figuring out this whole “pottying outside” thing, but I’m trying my best. Speaking of outside — I love it. There are so many amazing smells, sounds, and sights to explore. One of my favorite games is burying my nose deep into the grass like I’m searching for hidden treasure. My foster mom laughs and calls me her little fox. I’m still easily distracted on walks, but I’m working hard on my leash manners. I’ve already mastered walking on a loose leash… unless I spot something especially exciting that just has to be investigated. I love everyone I meet because, to me, strangers are just friends I haven’t met yet. Sometimes I’ll gently wrap my paws around someone’s hand to convince them to stay with me forever. I’m still learning proper greetings, though — I just get so excited to say hello that I occasionally forget my mouth can hurt. I adore playing with my toys, especially when you join in the fun. Every now and then I forget that not everything is a toy, but I’m working on it, I promise. I’m also teething, so plenty of chew toys will help keep me happy. At bedtime, I’m a total pro sleeper as long as you’re nearby. Having my people close makes me feel safe and cozy. Oh, and one more thing: my fur is incredibly soft, and with my big ears, I look just like a tiny little elf 🧚‍♀️

At the rescue again after being adopted in 2020!! :( I was returned by my "family" for something the rescue did before i left as a puppy- socialize me... SO, this is the thing... when you adopt a puppy especially, take the time to SOCIALIZE them all different situations and all different people and other animals.... it is your responsibility. WE committed to Mars so if his "family" gave up on him, we would not! He is back with the rescue and looking for his FOREVER HOME! He is a sweet and loving guy, active and BIG so must be a good leader and must keep him happy and exercised and loved!! My name is Buck, and I am from Missouri! Perhaps the best dog on the face of the Earth!! He is so sweet and chill for the most part. When he gets mouthy with teething, he is redirected easily. He sleeps through the night like a champ right by our side! He does well with kennel time during the day if we need to be gone for short intervals. Learning to walk on leash, when off leash he stays close. Not a fan of cats (yet!). Potty training going great!
