He may be shy at first, but give him a little time and he’ll show you the playful, affectionate pup hiding behind those soulful eyes.Who is Peter? But he responds well to a “trade” and has already shown he’s eager to learn with the right encouragement.Peter Would Do Best In a Home That Offers:- Kids around 12+ who understand a shy pup’s boundaries- A doggy friend could be a match (introductions on a case-by-case basis)- Patience, training, and positive reinforcement to help him gain confidence- Regular walks, playtime, and consistency to burn energy and build trustPeter may be a little unsure of new things, but he’s resilient, loving, and ready to bond with someone who believes in him. With guidance, this shy boy will grow into the loyal companion he’s meant to be.---Condensed Staff Assessment Notes: Peter is an energetic young dog full of curiosity. He loved exploring the shelter grounds, but it`s challenging to redirect his focus. He pulled on the leash initially, relaxing as we walked. Inside, he impro
