Story
Hello, my name is Ritchley! I came to the shelter as a stray, and no one came for me so I am now looking for my furever home. I tend to be a little nervous at first, especially with loud and unfamiliar noises of the city. I just need some reassurance and TLC to learn that I am okay. Since I do spook easily, it would be best that any kids in the home are 8 and older who can respect my boundaries. I may do well with cats with proper introduction, but I haven't met one before. I do need to be the only dog in the home though. I am also able to jump fences, so please consider keeping me leashed/tethered or never unsupervised. I do have a big heart and plenty of love and companionship to share if you'll give me a chance.---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. Pepper is a sweet boy who has been waiting way too long for a home. He is about a year old. He is very affectionate and gets along well with other dogs. He is excellent with kids and previously lived with a toddler who he loved. Pepper is shy, calm, and laid back but also loves to play. He loves to snuggle too. He is almost fully house trained. He has not been around cats. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, heartworm tested negative, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. He is a good boy who deserves a home of his own! To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Story
Meet Toffee she is about 7 months old, a plott hound mix, around 40lbs. She is shy at first and takes some time to warm up to people. However she loves other dogs, cats and kids! She would do best in a home with a playmate who is active as she loves to run and play. She can be easily startled by loud noise but we are working on that and she is doing great. She is house broken and crate trained (sometimes it takes some treats to get her in but she is fine once she is). She walks well on a leash and is super intelligent. She is starting to learn some basic commands and does best with a set schedule. Toffee loves tummy rubs and couch time! She is up to date on vaccines and spayed. She is being fostered in Hanover, PA Apply now at https://pinkdogrescue.org/application/ Hanover Pa LIC# 17216

Story
ABOUT LUCKY CLOVER This gorgeous girl is a 1 year old Plott Hound mix. Lucky Clover came to HAP on a rescue flight from multiple southern, high-intake shelters. There, she was at risk for euthanasia because she had given birth to a litter of pups and the shelter did not have space for them. All of her babies have been adopted and Lucky Clover is hoping to find her forever home too! **Lucky Clover recently had puppies and she has not been spayed yet. Due to this, she has not been introduced to other dogs yet. At this time, she is available for foster or foster-to-adopt! Once she is healthy enough to safely spay her, she will be ready for adoption. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Nubby (first known to our rescue as Domino) is hoping he’ll be someone’s FUREVER Valentine this year ♥ Nubby was surrendered back to our care after his home caught fire, and family’s housing situation changed. Nubby likes to be low-key. He is the perfect companion for someone looking for a dog that will snuggle with them on the sofa as he is an expert. Nubby would love a quiet home (respectful or older children, no hyperactive dogs). A home that has a large fenced-in yard would be ideal, although not a must-have for this boy. Nubby is overall very low maintenance as long as his furever home is quiet. He is a very social dog and loves being around people. One of Nubby's cutest features is his nubby tail he wags every time he sees someone. He loves car rides and is happy to go wherever his new family would take  him. www.mostlymuttz.org Great with cats, dogs Requires fenced in yard 43 lbs Domino is being fostered in Springfield (Delaware County), Pennsylvania). #handsomesenior #mostlymuttzrescue #adoptabledogs #rescuedismyfavoritebreed  If you are interested in adopting Nubby and would like to provide the loving home this boy deserves, please contact Mostly Muttz! You can apply at https://www.mostlymuttz.org/adoption-application/. Story
Looking for a gentle, sweet companion? Diane might just steal your heart! This beautiful girl exudes a calm demeanor with a hint of playful energy. While she may be a tad shy initially, Diane quickly warms up and reveals her loving nature. Diane's leash manners are impeccable – no pulling here! She's ready to accompany you on leisurely strolls through the neighborhood or adventurous hikes in the great outdoors. In search of a forever home, we believe Diane would thrive in a household with children aged 10 and above. Although she's a bit nervous around very young children, older respectful children will find a loyal and affectionate friend in Diane. Let's make Diane's dreams of a forever home a reality! www.mostlymuttz.org Gets along well with other dogs Crate Trained House Trained Walks well on a leash Does not require a fenced in yard Diane is fostered in Ephrata (Lancaster County), Pennsylvania  Interested in meeting Diane in person?
