Story
Meet Fable: Fable is a three year old (as of October 2026) plott hound mix (best guess) that weighs 36 pounds. This rootin tootin cowboy litter of 3 (Farley, Farris and Fable) are sure to steal some hearts! These cuties were found abandoned in a rural area and luckily made it to our rescue. Fable is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Fable is a sweet, playful handsome boy that is looking for his very own family! To put it simply, Fable is a big love bug! He just wants to be with his person and that’s what makes him happiest! Fable loves playing with toys and exploring around the dog yard. In the play yard he avoids rough play with the other foster dogs and likes to hang with the easy going ones. Fable has a gentle spirit and lots of love to give! Fable is working on his house training. We would love for Fable to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely! Fable is up to date on his shots and neutered. If you are interested in adopting this cute cowboy, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Vinnie is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Vinnie loves to run and play! Vinnie likes toys and treats. Vinnie is good with other dogs. Vinnie has gorgeous eyes and will surely steal some hearts! Story
~AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION~ This handsome fella is 3yr old, 65lb, mixed hound/bully breed named Marley. Marley came to us from a high kill shelter in North Carolina where he was surrendered for his family having too many dogs. Marley is as sweet as they come. He loves to love everyone he meets. Marley has shown he is good with kids while at his NC foster home. He tolerates his crate and will probably find it more enjoyable once he can expend his energy after his heartworm treatment is complete. He is housebroken and does well on leash. He enjoys spending time with people and is just happy to be a part of the family.  As well as arriving to the shelter a bit under weight Marley was found to be heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment in our rescue. Marley receives his second round of injections the week of April 20th. His heartworm treatment is paid for by us (the rescue) and upon completion he will be heartworm free and needs to remain on monthly heartworm preventative (as all dogs should) for the remainder of his life to prevent this from happening again.  Marley is microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventatives with an adoption fee of $375. Marley is not yet neutered but an appointment will be made via the rescue after his heartworm treatment is completed. If you think this handsome hunk of love would make a wonderful addition to your family please fill out our adoption application at: https://form.jotform.com/fairytailsrescuemd/dogpuppy-adoption-application Thanks!  August 30, 2026, 2:30 pm

Story
🐾 Meet Timmy — Tippy Taps, Good Manners & a Whole Lotta Love! ❤️ Timmy is truly the sweetest boy with so much love to give! After starting life as a stray, he’s learned to appreciate the finer things in life—especially FOOD. 😂 Mealtime excitement usually comes with his signature tippy taps, and honestly, they’re pretty adorable. Timmy enjoys the company of other dogs, but people are where his heart really is. If there’s an available lap and a hand willing to give pets, you can bet Timmy will be there! 🥰 He has a little case of FOMO when crated (because clearly the party cannot continue without Timmy!), but he settles easily with a reminder. He also walks nicely on leash, although every once in a while his nose says, “WAIT… what’s that smell?!” 👃🐕 A quick redirect and he’s right back on track. But here’s what makes Timmy extra special: he has spent the past several months living and working with some wonderful trainers. He has learned SO much, developed great manners, and has worked hard to become the good boy he is today. His trainers are also ready to help his future adopter with his transition into his new home and provide support should anything come up along the way. ❤️ Timmy has done the work. He’s learned the manners. He’s perfected the tippy taps. Now there’s just one thing left to find… his forever family. 🏡🐾 Could that be you? ❤️

Story
Hello, my name is: StellaApprox. DOB: 05/06/2026Weight: 32 lbsSex/breed: Female Plott Hound mixRescued from: AbandonedFound abandoned on railroad tracks and lucky to have survived, this group of pups has shown us nothing but love, joy, and an incredible zest for life despite their rough start. They are affectionate, playful, adventurous, and seem to be determined to make the most of every day. They`re also a bright bunch! These pups are smart, eager to learn, and soaking up everything their humans have to teach them. Ideally, we`ll be looking for families with some experience to help them continue on their journey to becoming confident and well-mannered companions. They`re working on their crate and house training and have been wonderfully socialized with humans and other dogs.Their story could have ended very differently, but these lucky pups got their second chance - and now they`re ready for the fun part: growing into happy, confident dogs with families of their own. We can`t wait to watch them thrive and show the world just how wonderful they are! All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Big Jon! Somewhere along the way, this sweet old hound was forgotten. Found wandering the streets down South, Big Jon ended up without the one thing every dog deserves - a family to call his own.   But here's the thing... Big Jon hasn't given up. At around 8 years old, he still greets each day with a wagging tail, a curious nose, and hope in his heart!   He wants to follow you from room to room and then plop himself next to you on the couch. He'll happily sniff every blade of grass outside and soak up the sunshine. He'll serenade you with his happy hound songs and greet you with excited tippy taps when you come home! And - just maybe - he can convince you to share a bite of whatever snack you're eating.   Big Jon is doing wonderfully in his foster home! He's loving car rides, doing well with house training, and settles nicely in his crate while you're away... and he is eager to keep learning! He's already made canine friends and would be happy to meet a dog sibling.   Senior dogs are so often overlooked, but they have something so special to offer. His floppy ears, soulful brown eyes, and gentle heart tell a story of resilience.. Will you be Big Jon's forever person and happily ever after?September 14, 2026, 3:49 pm

Story
Meet Virginia: Virginia (affectionately called Ginny) is about a 3-year-old (as of August 2026) Catahoula mix (best guess) that weighs about 46 pounds. Virginia was found in Walker Park in MS after giving birth in a hollowed-out tree. Virginia was named after the Virginia Creeper climbing the tree that the rescuers found her living in with her five puppies. All of Virginia’s puppies have been adopted and now it’s this sweet mama’s turn to find her forever family. Virginia is currently being fostered in the Lancaster, PA area. Virginia has come a long way with the love, patience, and guidance of her foster family. She currently lives with six resident dogs in the foster family’s home. Sometimes the barking can be overwhelming to her and we feel she would thrive best in a home with only one or two other dogs. We feel she would do best with a male dog in the home. Virginia is particularly fond of women. She has also spent time around many men, and with patience and positive experiences, her initial anxiety around men has greatly improved. She has only been around kids that are over 12 years and older and we think she would do best in a home with older children.  Virginia is potty-trained and has had no accidents in the home. She is doing well on walks and has enjoyed trips to the dog park. Virginia has not been around cats, so we do not know how she will be with them in the home. She does have a strong interest in chasing squirrels. We would love for Virginia to have a home with a fenced-in yard so she can play freely. Virginia is up to date on her shots and is spayed. Virginia tested heartworm positive and has started her treatment. If you are interested in showing this sweet mama the love she deserves, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Story
Meet Snoopy: Snoopy is about a 6.5 month old (as of August 28, 2026) Catahoula/Lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 44 pounds. He has the cutest black-and-white markings and the softest puppy eyes.  Snoopy is being fostered in the Lititz, PA area (as of May 16, 2026) and would love to meet his forever family! Snoopy is the perfect mix of playful puppy and snuggly sweetheart. He has been doing wonderfully in his foster home, including with kids and the resident dog. He loves toys and balls, enjoys playing, and is already showing what a good boy he can be with structure, love, and consistency. Snoopy's foster family has learned a lot about Snoopy. He is gentle and sweet with children. He is active and loves playing with other dogs. Snoopy would do well in a home with an active playmate. He loves toys, bones, and cozy blankets. Snoopy redirects well with bones and toys for his puppy chewing desires! He has such a soft, trusting, happy spirit already. He just wants to be near his people, play, learn, and be loved. Snoopy has been around cats and is interested in them. He will run and bark at them and then lick his new little friends. We would love for Snoopy to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely. Snoopy is up to date on his puppy shots and neutered. He is crate-trained and potty-trained. If you are interested in giving this little cutie a great life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Snoopy's Backstory: This litter of cuties (Gracey, Sadie, Brandi, Molly, Goldie, Snoopy, Dottie and Daisy) was found as strays with their mom in a rural area in Mississippi. Luckily the person who spotted them took them and dropped them at a local animal shelter. We heard about the need to get them into a rescue and were able to step up. Story
Meet Bo: Bo is a 1 and a 1/2 year old (as of April 2026) Catahoula/Pit mix that weighs 86 pounds. Bo was originally rescued from another organization, but due to unexpected personal circumstances his current owner has no choice but to rehome him and the original shelter said if they took him back he would end up on the euthanasia list. Our rescue stepped in to make sure this handsome boy could avoid that fate and find the right home for him to thrive for a long and happy life! Bo is currently being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Bo absolutely adores people — from kids to adults! He loves attention. Bo is a big, happy, high-energy boy who just needs the right home — a secure setup and someone willing to give him the structure and the love he deserves. Bo has a history of jumping the fence in his old house, his new home would need a tall fence and someone willing to work with him to know his boundaries to stay in the yard. Bo has been friendly with other dogs he’s met but prefers canine friends that are close to his size. He does have a strong prey drive, so he would not do well in a home with small pets/cats. Bo is already house trained and crate trained!   Bo is up to date on his shots and neutered. Bo is ready for his forever family - could it be you?! If you think he could be your new playmate and love bug, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.
