Story
Meet Fable: Fable is a one year old (as of October 2024) plott hound mix (best guess) that weighs 36 pounds. This rootin tootin cowboy litter of 3 (Farley, Farris and Fable) are sure to steal some hearts! These cuties were found abandoned in a rural area and luckily made it to our rescue. Fable is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Fable is a sweet, playful handsome boy that is looking for his very own family! To put it simply, Fable is a big love bug! He just wants to be with his person and that’s what makes him happiest! Fable loves playing with toys and exploring around the dog yard. In the play yard he avoids rough play with the other foster dogs and likes to hang with the easy going ones. Fable has a gentle spirit and lots of love to give! Fable is working on his house training. We would love for Fable to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely! Fable is up to date on his shots and neutered. If you are interested in adopting this cute cowboy, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Story
Flick is a great puppy, he has a great temperament and pretty easy going. He is a playful pup, he loves toys, playing with other pups and dogs and is great with children. Flick is a little over 6 months and weighs around 30 lbs, so he should be a bigger medium sized dog as an adult. Flick stays in a busy foster home with other puppies, adult dogs and children, and he has done well. He will chase a cat, so his new home should be cat free. If you are looking for an active, medium sized buddy, Flick is sure to be a great addition to most homes. He would do best in a home with a yard for him to explore, he is still learning leash training, but he's a smart cookie and should pick it up with a little help. Flick has been neutered, vaccinated and is on monthly flea/heartworm prevention.

We have been facilitating long distance adoptions since 2019. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. Story
~AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION~ This handsome fella is 3yr old, 65lb, mixed hound/bully breed named Marley. Marley came to us from a high kill shelter in North Carolina where he was surrendered for his family having too many dogs. Marley is as sweet as they come. He loves to love everyone he meets. Marley has shown he is good with kids while at his NC foster home. He tolerates his crate and will probably find it more enjoyable once he can expend his energy after his heartworm treatment is complete. He is housebroken and does well on leash. He enjoys spending time with people and is just happy to be a part of the family.  As well as arriving to the shelter a bit under weight Marley was found to be heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment in our rescue. Marley receives his second round of injections the week of April 20th. His heartworm treatment is paid for by us (the rescue) and upon completion he will be heartworm free and needs to remain on monthly heartworm preventative (as all dogs should) for the remainder of his life to prevent this from happening again.  Marley is microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventatives with an adoption fee of $375. Marley is not yet neutered but an appointment will be made via the rescue after his heartworm treatment is completed. If you think this handsome hunk of love would make a wonderful addition to your family please fill out our adoption application at: https://form.jotform.com/fairytailsrescuemd/dogpuppy-adoption-application Thanks!  May 28, 2026, 2:56 pm

He would love a family ready for puppy adventures, training, and lots of cuddles after playtime. Beans is crate and leash trained and does well with dogs and kids. He is also working on potty training and will need a patient family committed to continuing his training and helping him grow into the amazing dog he is meant to be. Story
If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a ray of sunshine, a golden retriever meme, and a professional good‑boy all merged into one being… meet Sunny, a 2‑year‑old neutered male who has graduated from doggy daycare training with honors in “Trying His Best.” Sunny didn’t just complete training — he thrived. He worked hard, charmed everyone, and impressed his trainer so much that she wanted to adopt him herself… but five other pups beat her to it. (Sunny forgave them immediately. He’s generous like that.) Sunny is exactly what his name promises: bright, warm, and guaranteed to make you smile. He’s the perfect blend of goofy teenager and eager‑to‑please gentleman. In playgroups, he’s known as the dog who’s always engaged, steerable, playful, and social — basically the kid everyone wants on their kickball team. ⭐ Sunny’s Skills & Superpowers Knows sit, down, leave it, off Potty trained Crate trained & house trained (but also totally fine outside the crate) Walks well on leash Rides beautifully in the car Loves treats (training jackpot!) Dog‑friendly AND cat‑friendly Shares toys like a gentleman Can play gentle or rowdy depending on his friends Enjoys zoomies, fetch, tug‑of‑war, and treat puzzles Professional cuddler, certified lovebug Loves to be close — outside he stands upright next to his foster mom so they can lean on the railing together like two old friends watching the sunset 🌟 Sunny’s Vibe He’s playful, active, adventurous, and always ready for fun — but he’s equally happy trotting by your side as your loyal sidekick. He shines in the play yard, zooming around like he’s training for the Dog Olympics, then happily sharing his toys like the gentleman he is. Sunny is joyful, friendly, affectionate, and ready to bring warmth and laughter to a home that appreciates a dog who’s both silly and sweet. 🏡 Best Home For Sunny An active family who wants a dog that can keep up with adventures, playdates, and fun — but also loves a good cuddle session.
