Meet Fable: Fable is a one year old (as of October 2024) plott hound mix (best guess) that weighs 36 pounds. This rootin tootin cowboy litter of 3 (Farley, Farris and Fable) are sure to steal some hearts! These cuties were found abandoned in a rural area and luckily made it to our rescue. Fable is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Fable is a sweet, playful handsome boy that is looking for his very own family! To put it simply, Fable is a big love bug! He just wants to be with his person and that’s what makes him happiest! Fable loves playing with toys and exploring around the dog yard. In the play yard he avoids rough play with the other foster dogs and likes to hang with the easy going ones. Fable has a gentle spirit and lots of love to give! Fable is working on his house training. We would love for Fable to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely! Brindles are the best! And Lady Bird is everything that's great about a brindle: she's sweet, gentle, low key, and super smart. Birdie is great in public and with kids. She was the chillest dog when she made her adoption event debut. She sat politely in front of anyone who walked up to pet her. Birdie loves car rides and hanging out on the couch. She's fully vetted including spay, adult shots, and is on heartworm preventative. She is very good on a leash. Lady Bird is ready for a family to love and that will love how amazing she is!
