Story
Hello, my name is Ritchley! I came to the shelter as a stray, and no one came for me so I am now looking for my furever home. I tend to be a little nervous, especially with loud and unfamiliar noises of the city. I just need some reassurance and TLC to learn that I am okay. Since I do spook easily, it would be best that any kids in the home are 8 and older who can respect my boundaries. I may do well with another dog and/or cat with proper introduction as well. I have a big heart and plenty of love and companionship to share if you'll give me a chance.---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
We adopted here two years ago from the animal shelter. She needs a home that can get her acclimated to more people, someone who can confidently train her to be less anxious around others and behaved when other people or animals come near her. Our work schedules have changed and take a lot from our time to have a decent schedule for her and we also are just struggling with breaking some of her habits. Overall we feel it's best to find her a home that will give her the time and attention she deserves. We don't want to take her back to thr shelter we would prefer to find someone who is ready to take her. We have a crate, her shots record, blankets, toys amd grooming items that will.be with her as well.

Story
ABOUT LUCKY CLOVER This gorgeous girl is a 1 year old Plott Hound mix. Lucky Clover came to HAP on a rescue flight from multiple southern, high-intake shelters. There, she was at risk for euthanasia because she had given birth to a litter of pups and the shelter did not have space for them. All of her babies have been adopted and Lucky Clover is hoping to find her forever home too! **Lucky Clover recently had puppies and she has not been spayed yet. Due to this, she has not been introduced to other dogs yet. At this time, she is available for foster or foster-to-adopt! Once she is healthy enough to safely spay her, she will be ready for adoption. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
