Meet Fable: Fable is a one year old (as of October 2024) plott hound mix (best guess) that weighs 36 pounds. This rootin tootin cowboy litter of 3 (Farley, Farris and Fable) are sure to steal some hearts! These cuties were found abandoned in a rural area and luckily made it to our rescue. Fable is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Fable is a sweet, playful handsome boy that is looking for his very own family! To put it simply, Fable is a big love bug! He just wants to be with his person and that’s what makes him happiest! Fable loves playing with toys and exploring around the dog yard. In the play yard he avoids rough play with the other foster dogs and likes to hang with the easy going ones. Fable has a gentle spirit and lots of love to give! Fable is working on his house training. We would love for Fable to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely! Weighing around 30–35 lbs, she’s the perfect medium size for just about any family. She loves everyone she meets and is always greeting the world with her signature butt wag. Merry did wonderfully meeting other dogs and people, showing a submissive, easygoing demeanor with other dogs (at least during a small-store outing). With people, she’s incredibly gentle and affectionate. Merry seems to enjoy car rides, walks nicely on leash, does well in her crate, and appears to be housetrained. At home, one of her favorite pastimes is sitting on the back of the sofa, quietly looking out the window and taking in the world. Merry arrived in foster care with her three puppies and has been a devoted mama. Two of her pups are still searching for their forever homes as well.
