Story
Meet Fable: Fable is a one year old (as of October 2024) plott hound mix (best guess) that weighs 36 pounds. This rootin tootin cowboy litter of 3 (Farley, Farris and Fable) are sure to steal some hearts! These cuties were found abandoned in a rural area and luckily made it to our rescue. Fable is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Fable is a sweet, playful handsome boy that is looking for his very own family! To put it simply, Fable is a big love bug! He just wants to be with his person and that’s what makes him happiest! Fable loves playing with toys and exploring around the dog yard. In the play yard he avoids rough play with the other foster dogs and likes to hang with the easy going ones. Fable has a gentle spirit and lots of love to give! Fable is working on his house training. We would love for Fable to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely! Fable is up to date on his shots and neutered. If you are interested in adopting this cute cowboy, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Story
~AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION~ This handsome fella is 3yr old, 65lb, mixed hound/bully breed named Marley. Marley came to us from a high kill shelter in North Carolina where he was surrendered for his family having too many dogs. Marley is as sweet as they come. He loves to love everyone he meets. Marley has shown he is good with kids while at his NC foster home. He tolerates his crate and will probably find it more enjoyable once he can expend his energy after his heartworm treatment is complete. He is housebroken and does well on leash. He enjoys spending time with people and is just happy to be a part of the family.  As well as arriving to the shelter a bit under weight Marley was found to be heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment in our rescue. Marley receives his second round of injections the week of April 20th. His heartworm treatment is paid for by us (the rescue) and upon completion he will be heartworm free and needs to remain on monthly heartworm preventative (as all dogs should) for the remainder of his life to prevent this from happening again.  Marley is microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventatives with an adoption fee of $375. Marley is not yet neutered but an appointment will be made via the rescue after his heartworm treatment is completed. If you think this handsome hunk of love would make a wonderful addition to your family please fill out our adoption application at: https://form.jotform.com/fairytailsrescuemd/dogpuppy-adoption-application Thanks!  August 18, 2026, 1:36 pm

Timmie is about 3 years old and 32lbs. He would do best in a household with other dogs around to keep him company. He does well on car rides and walks. He is house trained and crate trained and is ecollar trained. Once he warms up he is quite the snuggle bug!💖

Story
Ozzy is a 3-month-old Plott Hound/Terrier Mix. We think he'll be around 60 pounds full grown. He’s very sweet and loves his playtime with his canine foster siblings. He’s mastered sit and working on recall. He does great in his crate with a fun chew toy and he is doing well on his house training. Ozzy loves his bones and tug toys. He is a big cuddle bug and loves to nap right with his people.

Story
We adopted Finn from H.A.R.T. in Media, PA. We did a puppy basics training class through petco when he was young. Later, we joined a search and rescue group and were training to do trailing. Our jobs recently changed schedules and we can no longer dedicate as much time to him. He is a very smart, very busy dog and needs more than we can offer. We have a young child that does well with him, but we've made sure to educate our child on how to be gentle with him. He does well with our elderly dog, but can be reactive to other dogs (mostly on leash/through fence). He also tries to play with our older cat like a puppy.

Story
Location: Centreville, VA Meet Wally! 🐾 This lovable 4-month-old boy is a bundle of puppy sweetness, curiosity, and just a little bit of mischief! ❤️ He bonds deeply with his people and loves showing affection to the person caring for him. He’s a little shy with strangers at first, but give him a few minutes and he’s starting to realize that new people can be friends, too! This smart boy has already learned Sit and Paw and is eager to learn more. He’s curious about absolutely everything—he loves sniffing on walks, chasing squirrels, running, trying to climb trees, and munching on grass! 😂 He’s also making great progress with potty training and is quickly learning his routine. At night, he’s an impressive sleeper, usually snoozing for about 9 hours straight. He loves chew toys and carrots and enjoys three meals a day. He gets very excited around other dogs, so his foster family is still learning about his play style and taking introductions slowly. This sweet, smart, adventurous boy is ready to find a family who will give him the love, patience, training, and adventures every puppy deserves. 💕

Story
I’m the kind of dog who enjoys the simple things in life: a good walk, a place to explore, a toy to carry around, and a comfy spot to relax with my favorite people. I recently went on a Dogs’ Day Out and showed everyone what a great companion I can be, calmly walking past strangers, other dogs, and even small animals with very little concern. I love taking in the world through my nose, but after a little adventure, I’m perfectly happy settling in for some quiet time. Meeting new people can still feel a little overwhelming for me, so I like to take introductions at my own pace. The staff and volunteers here have given me time, patience, and plenty of treats, and every day I grow a little more confident. Once I know you’re part of my circle, my goofy, loving personality really shines through. Because trust takes a little time, I’m looking for a family that understands there’s no need to rush. I’ll likely need multiple meets before I’m ready to head home, but I promise it’s worth the wait. If you’re willing to let me move at my own pace, you’ll discover a loyal, sweet companion who’s ready to join you on all of life’s adventures. 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #:3537
