This is what Mesquite's new foster had to say about him! He's this adorable 6-month-old puppy who just wants to be by your side. He loves playing outside and is always up for some fetch. At home, he's a total cuddler who sleeps in bed with me every night. When he first came to me, he was really scared of men, but he's come such a long way. Now he just watches them instead of barking or hiding, which is a huge improvement. I think with the right family, he'll keep building that confidence. Mesquite gets a little excited on the leash, but I've ordered a gentle leader to help with that. He's super gentle with both cats and dogs, and he's really treat-motivated, which is great for training. He'd do best in a home with another dog, and kids are fine but not necessary. Overall, he's a sweet boy who just needs some love and patience to truly flourish. I really believe he'll make a wonderful companion for someone!

Hami is a sweet and playful pup who loves people! His favorite activities include playing fetch with his toys, cuddling up on the couch, going for hikes where he can sniff for wildlife scents, and making humans laugh. In the backyard, he loves to play `soccer` and make friends with lizards using an adorable, playful hop-pounce. When he`s not snoozing indoors, he enjoys doing puzzle games, chewing on his chew toys, and watching squirrels out the window. He has been trained with fear-free positive reinforcement, is house-trained, and knows sit, wait, and lie down (with potential to learn many more cues). He has potential to live with a doggie sibling but has shown he`s happy as the only pet as well. This girl is so sweet and affectionate that her foster mom has taken to calling her Lovebug! ?Ladybug came to us with an injured leg but has healed like a champ and wants nothing more than to run and play and then shower you with her puppy kisses.This black-and-brindle beauty currently resides in foster with a large dog, a senior dog, and a toddler and gets along seamlessly with everyone. Foster mom reports that she is the definition of a “velcro pup” who wants to follow you around and sit at your feet, waiting for a pat or cuddle. And with her expressive ears and velvety “coat of many colors,” how can you resist?Ladybug sleeps through the night in her crate and is about 90% potty trained. She is nondestructive, shows no resource guarding, and is working on leash walking. She adores children and has quickly learned to be respectful and gentle with the resident child in her home. She is a VERY smart girl who has already mastered sit and come, so will likely be an excellent candidate for obedience or even trick training.With her petite frame and adaptability, Ladybug would do well in a range of environments, from a city apartment to a country home.
