He appears to be about 6 years old and is very skinny, suggesting that for a long time he may not have known when his next meal was coming. He was abandoned, and his story is still unfolding with us, but even in these early days, his sweetness shines through. Despite everything he’s been through, Turkey Meatball remains gentle and kind. He looks like a dog who wants to trust and is hopeful that better days are ahead. He seems to know how to sit and does so in his own endearing way, with his legs spread wide, adding a small moment of charm to an otherwise sad chapter of his life. He is very new to us, and we’re still learning who he is, but so far he appears to be a soft-hearted boy who didn’t give up on people, even when people gave up on him.
