Kobe had a brief adoption where we got a lot of awesome notes about him. Unfortunately, the adopter`s unexpected allergies cut their time together short, but we can tell how much they loved Kobe by the behavior information they submitted!`What are your dog’s best qualities?: Oh man, how long do I have to talk about this dude. He is loyal, smart, affectionate, and most of all just a good boy. He loves car rides and after some energy is out he sits and relaxes and just looks out the window at the world. He really loves the structure of training and responds so well. Everything is a game to him, he loves to win! LOL he loves treats and bones and cat toys LOL anything squeaky he will play with for hours. He loves playing keep away and has never once shown any type of resistance when we took things away from him (out of his mouth). I cannot express enough what an amazing dog he is and how lucky a family will be to have him. He is a one dog type of family and I believe will fill the hearts of his new owners like he did with us. He LOVES to snuggle on the couch. He also knows when to chill and it`s time to wind down. He loves balls and tug a war with his rope.`Kobe enjoys playing with other dogs here at the shelter but would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

From his uneven ears to his unconventional methods for entering/leaving the couch (leaping over the side!), he has a big & affectionate personality that his fosters have truly grown to love. He's excited to charm his way into your heart. Now, let's get to the practical details: Chuck is house-trained. He's crate trained and is relaxed in his crate if we leave him there while people are away. Chuck is a great companion for working from home. He's excited to sleep in bed with you, but also perfectly content to sleep in his crate. He loves to go on walks but isn't so high energy that he demands them - on cold or rainy days, he's perfectly happy staying in all day. He's extremely smart, eager to please, and loves to snuggle. If you come to meet Felicity and give her nose a massage, she will decide you're her new best friend. She loves getting nose petting and massages! She wants to be next to her human friends. When her foster mom is on her computer, Felicity snuggles on her feet, hoping she'll pet her nose. Felicity is also very playful. She has fun playing with her doggie sister and playing tug-o-war, keep-away, and chase with her people and then chewing up her toys. She also loves playing with water hoses and sprinklers. Plus, she's always looking for rocks and carries them in her mouth. She also loves going for walks and does well. She will pull to sniff things and may bark at dogs she sees. She gets very excited when meeting new people and children and may hop up to greet them but is getting better about it. She can also be very energetic and bouncy with people and is fearful of veterinarians, so is under more training. Felicity is smart and already understands many commands, including shake, catch, muzzle, sit, wait, and touch. Her behavior is perfect when her fosters are away from home. She just goes to sleep. A crate is available, and she may go in it, but doesn't have to. And she is house-trained. This sweet, affectionate girl will love a patient parent who has a lot of time to continue her training and help her become comfortable with veterinarians.
