Story
Penny is our sweet 7 year-old Plott Hound / Portuguese Water Dog with a lot of love to give who we adopted in 2020 from a rescue in Texas! We are a young family with scheduling and travel changes that leaves us looking for the perfect fit for our Penny ensuring that she continues to have a happy to healthy life while starting a next chapter with an individual or family who can meet her where she is with her needs. Penny is a fantastic and tolerant dog around children who treat her with respect, is loyal, and protective chasing birds, rabbits, and cats away from her space. As she is a hunting dog, she has a high prey drive. As loving as Penny is to humans, she does not like other dogs. She is not a dog to take to the dog park, a walk around Green Lake, or other areas where she can feel threatened by dogs coming up to her, etc. She would do best in a home that has a wide area or yard for her to roam in, explore, and with someone who can take her on a daily 30-minute walk.

Story
Fostered in Houston, TX and ready to join her new family for all kinds of adventures is Luna!!! Luna is a spunky young girl who we think is a plott hound/pittie mix, but with rescue it's always best guess! Her DNA test will be a fun one to do though! Whether you're looking for a running partner, a hiking buddy to hit the trails with, or a pal to throw a ball for in the backyard, Luna is your girl! She lives to have fun and be by your side. She likes to learn tricks too! She has already mastered sit and shake! And she says, done✔️ What's next?? Luna enjoys other four legged friends too! She would love to have another playful brother to romp around with. She even did well meeting the Rescue house cat! This could change in a home, but initial reactions were good! In summary, Luna is a fun, sweet, and playful pup who wants nothing more than a family to call her own. Is that you? Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6606f4f9d6af3b6b17019846 Please email evanh@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption to anywhere in the US. We transport near or into NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our dogs and cats are brought to you in style by a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. We can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 13,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Have you seen my Eeyore?? I mean, searching all over and he seems to be hiding from me!! Tigger is the name and I do NOT bounce on my tail but honestly, my tail is LONG enough to accomodate me :) I was found with my friend, Honey, left on a country road alone and scared we were. A towel, bowl of water and some food were left for us but we were still out on a country road with NO HOPE!! So, I failed to mention that our "owner" left us on a road, less than 1 mile from the rescue............. SO, you know what happened, right?? Those rescue people saw us, as they were leaving from the rescue, and..... YOU GUESSED IT!!! They SAVED US!! We are the sweetest and nicest pair, we love our people now and no we don't have to be adopted together:) I am a happy happy guy, love to play and run and hang out and PLAY. I am a young and healthy guy, will make someone a great buddy- fun for life!! If you want a loving buddy and a happy life... ADOPT ME!!! SO MANY LIVES DEPEND ON ADOPTION!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Introducing Timon! He is a 1-year-old, 38lb Plott Hound/Mountain Cur mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA with his son, JoJo. Timon is a very sweet dog who is still gaining his confidence. He can be very shy at first but once he trusts you, he’s down to go on any adventure. He walks very well on leash and would love a home that takes him on daily walks to help build his confidence in the world. He does well with other dogs and would make a great additional dog to a home or be okay as an only dog. He very much loves his people time and to cuddle. Timon would do best in a quieter household as he is still opening up and will make a sweet and charming addition to anyone’s home! Timon is UTD vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to JoJo! He is a 14-week-old, 16lb Plott Hound/Mountain Cur mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA along with his father, Timon. JoJo is a very sweet puppy, who is still coming out of his shell and is very shy. He would thrive in a patient household that is committed to helping him build his confidence. He is playful with other dogs, but still learning how to be social. He would love to be in a home with another dog to help him with his confidence and show him the ropes as he grows up, or a home that has other dogs in their friend/family circle for him to socialize with. Since he is still a puppy, he will need a forever home that has an area to frequently take him out for potty breaks and will be committed to obedience training and everything that a puppy needs. He’s going to make such a loving and loyal companion for a lucky adopter. Jojo is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
