Jose is an incredibly sweet boy with a gentle, shy nature. He may hide at first around new people, so slow, patient introductions are key. Once he gets to know you, he is all about cuddles — he loves snuggling on the couch or curling up right on your lap, often drifting off to sleep beside his favorite humans. Jose can get anxious when left alone, so he’s continuing to work on separation skills and crate training, and he’s making great progress. He would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help him feel safe and show him the world isn’t so scary. Potty training is still in progress. He’s currently pad trained, and as he finishes his vaccinations, he’ll be ready to fully learn outdoor potty routines. Jose can be a little nervous while eating, so providing a quiet, safe spot helps him relax and enjoy his meals. He’s playful, friendly, and shows no aggression — just the typical fun-loving puppy energy! He enjoys watching YouTube Dog TV and taking cozy naps. With patience and love, Jose warms up to people quickly and will be a loyal, affectionate companion for life. ##2631446##

When Muffin first arrived, she was a little nervous about going outside, but she quickly learned to enjoy her harness and short walks. She’s still perfecting her leash manners — sometimes she pulls or throws a little “temper tantrum” by rolling onto her back when she doesn’t want to go a certain way — but with patience and consistency, she’s learning fast. Muffin is potty trained and kennel trained, and she’s making steady progress with routines. She’s wonderful with other dogs and would likely flourish with a furry friend of similar size to boost her confidence and playfulness. Muffin’s future family can expect a loyal, loving companion who enjoys quiet cuddles, gentle walks, and the comfort of knowing she’s safe and loved.
