Story
Welcome Max to CCPAL Rescue. He is a German Shorthaired Pointer/Heeler mix is our best guess. He weighs 35 pounds and he loves other dogs. He is very dog friendly with all types of other dogs. He is friendly with the horses and the donkeys in his foster home. He is good on a leash, potty trained and super affectionate. He was an outside dog in his first home and a good Samaritan took him in. He has been with a vet that had PTSD and is sometimes too rough with him. He is very loving to women and warms up more slowly to a man. He loves all people and once he knows he is safe bonds deeply and is extremely loyal and devoted companion. He would be great for a hiker, walker, jogger or any one who wants a good companion to take with you. He would be great in a doggy daycare setting as he easily gets along well with all dog personalities. He is vaccinated, healthy, neutered and ready for his forever home. He loves children with open arms and has been around them regularly. He would be a great dog for a family with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See his cute video.

Story
Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Story
Meet Ben: A Resilient Heart, Ready to Love You Forever! In the heart of rural Arkansas, a little soul named Ben emerged from the shadows, abandoned and weighing only 7 pounds. Today, at 6 months old, he stands as a testament to resilience, love, and the unwavering spirit of a puppy who deserves a forever home. We believe he is mixed with pointer, or dalmatian due to the dappled spots he has in his coat. Ben's Journey:Found and nurtured by a wonderful foster family, Ben's story is one of triumph over adversity. This precious pup has thrived under their care, growing into a charming 6-month-old bundle of joy. His past may be a mystery, but his future is filled with the promise of love, warmth, and companionship. Foster Family Love: Ben's foster family has showered him with care, teaching him essential commands like sitting and kenneling up. He's not just potty trained; he's also mastered the art of crate training. Their love has shaped Ben into a well-behaved and adaptable companion. Ben's Personality: Curious, fun-loving, and endlessly playful, Ben is a joy to be around. His vibrant spirit shines as he embraces the wonders of the world with enthusiasm. Ben shares his playful nature with other dogs, and his gentle demeanor extends to his feline friends – he's great with cats! Fully Vetted and Ready for a Home: Ben's health and well-being are top priorities. He's microchipped, neutered, and has received all core puppy vaccinations, including rabies and Bordetella for the prevention of kennel cough. Ben is a picture of good health and happiness. Currently he weighs about 35 pounds. He will grow a little more and probably weigh about 50 pounds full grown. Transportation Included: While Ben is currently being fostered in Arkansas, don't let distance be a barrier. Transport is available and included in the adoption fee, making it easier than ever to bring this precious soul into your home. Adoption Fee: $450:For an adoption fee of $450, you can welcome Ben into your heart and home, providing him with the love and stability he deserves. Contact Information:Ready to make Ben a cherished member of your family? Visit our website at arkanpaws.org or give us a call at 501.289.0894. Ben is waiting with open paws for the family that will make his dreams come true.
