Meet Willett, a gentle 13-year-old Hound/Pointer mix with a story that tugs at the heart. After spending years in a loving home, she was returned to Furkids when her owner tragically passed away. Since then, this sweet senior has been patiently waiting for three years for a second chance at forever.
Willett is the ultimate low-maintenance companion—independent, mellow, and fully housetrained. She enjoys leisurely walks and especially loves taking peaceful breaks by a bench, where she can relax and watch the world go by. She's also quite the observer and isn't shy about sharing her thoughts with a few barks while bird- and dog-watching!
While other dogs may race through a splash pad, Willett prefers to take life at her own pace. She gave the splash pad a try but decided it wasn't really her thing, choosing instead to spend her time happily strolling around, sniffing every interesting scent she could find.
Incredibly sweet and loyal with her people, Willett thrives in a quiet, adult-only home where she can be your one and only. She prefers a low-traffic household without frequent visitors and would do best as the only pet, allowing her to enjoy the calm, predictable environment she loves.

Willett weighs 64lbs. and is approximately 13 years old (est. birth date 04/01/2013). Willett has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Willett's adoption fee is $85. If you want more information about Willett, please submit a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. At this time, meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
