Story
Pinky (A557066)What kind of dog is pretty in every single color? Pinky!!!!Pinky (A557066) is a 2-year-old, 56-pound, Pointer Mix available for adoption from the Prince George’s County Animal Shelter in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. If you`re looking for a loyal companion who gives hugs as freely as she gives love, Pinky might just be your perfect match! This sweet and gentle girl has a soft spirit and soulful eyes that’ll melt your heart.Pinky has a signature move that everyone falls for: she lovingly wraps her front paws around your waist and just hangs there, giving you the best doggy hug you’ve ever had. It’s her special way of saying, “I love you.”She’s well-mannered and already knows how to sit like a pro. While toys don’t catch her attention much, human companionship is her absolute favorite. She thrives on affection and would much rather be by your side than anywhere else.Pinky walks beautifully on a leash and would make a lovely walking buddy. As a true pointer at heart, she’s got that laser-sharp focus when she spots a bird—it`s all instinct and elegance in motion.Pinky had a bit of a sad expression at times, and she tended to curl inward, or sit with a bit of a slump. She reminded me of a tall, gangly, teenage girl who has yet to see her own beauty so she slouches, as if to hide. Pinky is beautiful inside and out. Her white coat is lovely and bright with gorgeous brown markings and soulful eyes. Pinky is waiting for you to come out of her shell and shine. She will hug your waist, sit by your side, be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your best friend. She’s ready to give all the love in the world—are you ready to receive it?Use the link below to see Pinky`s video!https://www.instagram.com/reel/DI6cqwjNN2P/?igsh=MTRtbmgzZXRkc2ticQ==Pinky is available to all adopters!Animal Services Division3750 Brown Station RDUpper Marlboro, MD301-780-7200

Story
Energetic, adorable, and lovable, Lassie is everything you want in a canine companion. She loves to run, play, and sniff, and she loves people! Lassie is a 35 pound, petite beauty with distinctive black spots down her little white back. She is a tail-wagging, treat-loving good time. And her intelligence and love for treats will make her easy to train! Lassie was an owner surrender in PG county. The owner suggested a placement without children, but another dog would be great for Lassie as she is always happy to engage a playmate. A yard with a fence is a must for this active little climber, and walks and hikes are great too. Lassie is game for an adventure, she loves to ride in the car, and she wants to be outside to explore the world around her and all of its good smells. Lassie's foster says that Lassie is very engaged, she LOVES to run, and she actively seeks out love and attention. Lassie's foster says that Lassie is full of love, energy and interest in her world! Her foster says that she is funny and smart, and that she has no problem figuring out her surroundings. This little Lassie does calm down after a good romp. She is very people-focused and she will seek out her person for a quiet snuggle or nap. Lassie is crate- and house-trained. She would love the chance to show you how fun life can be with her by your side! PAW adopts dogs in the MD, VA, and DC region ##2368933##

Story
Ringo is 3 years old. He is a great energetic family dog. He grew up with another female dog and has no bite history. I have a 2 year old son who he loves to play with so he is great with kids. He does bark anytime he hears sometime trying to get in the house. My schedule has gotten very busy and I will be traveling soon and would rather him go to a loving home with owners who will have the time for him. He is very obedient and can be left out his cage all day and you will still come back to a clean house with no messes. He doesn't bite furniture or shoes. His favorite toys are balls. He will make your family complete.

Story
My name is Robbie and I am puppy at heart and only 6 months old.  My pictures make me look big but ready I am not big at all. I only weigh 35 pounds at 6 months and they say I will be 65-70- pounds as an adult.  I LUV KIDS!   My heart leaps for joy when I See children that I can play with and love on.  I am a boy that loves to run fast and for a little bit of time too.  I need not only physical Exercise but also some fun games and training games to help my smart brain feel challenged too.  I need a fenced yard and someone To help share playtime and games with me sometimes.  I could use the company of another dog as well to help me with the physical Playtime outside and also to keep me active with socialization with other dogs.   We think that Robbie has some Pointer in him since He raises once leg and seems to point quite often during this outside playtime.  He is alert and very smart.   He walks pretty well on a leash and he is curious to learn more things about life.  He is not inside a lot so we would have to say that he could be housebroken fast if given some one on one Attention and training.  This boy is good with cats, dogs and adores children.  He never meets a stranger and he will needs a fenced yard To best live within safely and to run and play for long hours if the weather is good.  We want a wonderful dog savvy and loving family for Robbie.   He will be a 65 pounds boy when fully grown we think.   If you are interested in knowing more about Robbie please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Mention where you live.  We transport from Nashville, TN where we are based and we travel to the Northeastern region as well with our pre-adopted dogs.   Thank you for considering this precious boy   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 30, 2024, 2:10 pm

Currently Living At: DC area foster home Kentucky is Looking For: His forever family! He's got all that awesome young-dog energy and is eager to have his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and exploring the world - he hasn't seen nearly enough of it. To know where he belongs, to know he's safe and loved for all his days. What do you say? Is he the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: Kentucky is a very sweet, loving and good boy. He is high energy, playful, a little clumsy, and a giant goofball but he loves affection and attention, loves being outside, and loves being near me. He is doing great walking on leash and has been a wonderful running and hiking companion. He is very food motivated and loves to play with other dogs - he has gotten along great with another dog in the home. Chew toys, playing ball, and veggies (yes really!) are his favorite. He is so happy and a very sweet dog! Medical: Kentucky was heartworm positive, but this Lucky Dog got extra lucky!
