Milo came to us from an overcrowded shelter in rural North Carolina along with his mother, Sky, and brother, Pup Buttons. Sweet and gentle Sky is 1-2 years old and weighs 55 LBS, she looks to be a Labradoodle mix (picture attached). Milois now ready to find his forever home. Could that be with you? He is your typical young pup. Milois friendly,playful and loves other dogs. He would do well in an active home. At hisyoung age, Milois in hisprime for training and socialization. Please remember that young pupsrequire lots of time, love, and patience to become the best doggie citizens they can be. Give Miloa chance, and he'll give you a lifetime of companionship and unconditional love. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee.
