Story
Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
Meet Marley, the epitome of canine perfection. This loving rescue dog thrives on affection and adores being petted. Marley's friendly demeanor extends to all dogs-she hasn't met one she doesn't like. While she tolerates her crate with quiet patience and isn't a fan of baths, Marley remains calm and cooperative during the process. With medium energy, Marley knows how to relax and enjoys quiet moments just as much as playtime. She is fully potty trained, making her an easy fit into any home. Marley also knows the "sit" command, showcasing her intelligence and training. She loads into cars effortlessly and has a passion for travel, making her the ideal companion for your road trips. This sweet girl is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and on all necessary preventatives, ensuring she is in optimal health. Currently being fostered in a loving home in Seguin, TX, Marley is waiting for her forever family. Whether it's cuddling on the couch or exploring new places, Marley's adaptable and affectionate nature makes her the perfect addition to any household. If you're looking for a loyal, well-behaved, and travel-loving companion, Marley is your girl.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 5/17/24 Willis and his siblings had a very rough start in life. They were born under a trailer. Their mama loved them so much. But she didn't have a home and sadly, she was killed by someone in the area when the babies were only a few weeks old. I had the pleasure of meeting her before she died, and I was impressed by how friendly and loving she was. I wanted to rescue her and her babies but didn't have a foster home for them, so I was taking food to her, hoping they would all be safe until I could find them a safe place. A week after I met her, her body was found in the yard next door to where she had her babies. The woman who lives in the trailer thought she had moved the babies because she couldn't hear them. They were too far back to be able to see, and there was trash everywhere under and around the trailer, so it was hard to tell if there were puppies, but we assumed they had been moved. A week after the mama was found, the home owner thought she heard some faint cries so she put a bowl of milk at the opening that goes under the trailer, and the puppies came crawling out. They were in very, very bad shape. They had been without food for over a week by this time so they were dehydrated, malnourished, and had wounds all over them, which flies had laid eggs in. It was horrific. Sadly, we lost the 2 smallest puppies a few days later. Bruce, Demi, and Willis are the 3 survivors. They are now healthy, fat, strong babies! Their mom was a short haired pointer (maybe mixed). We don't know what dad was. These babies are now about 9 weeks old. They have had 2 sets of shots and they have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and started on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. We believe they will be 50 ish lbs when grown. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! ADOPT...........DON'T SHOP!!! My LIFE depends on it!!! LOcal adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)
