Sweet little Bea was running around rural Georgia with her sidekick for several weeks after apparently being dumped. Everybody in the area said they were friendly, but no one knew them so they called animal control. The girls were very bonded at first, but we feel like their first love is people. They want to love people and be loved so badly but when they didn’t have any people, they became very attached to each other. Her sidekick has now found her forever home and it’s Miss Bea’s turn now. She’s exceptionally sweet and outgoing. She loves to go for walks and rides in the car. She also loves to snuggle on the couch. Bea is 22 pounds and between four and five years old. WE ARE ONLY GUESSING AT HER BREED! She does not really have a JRT temperament but she has the size and cute little short tail. She is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm tested negative. She appears to be a very healthy and happy girl. Hello, my name is Iris and my foster mom says that I am the easiest puppy she has ever had! I live with a medium sized cattle dog and a big Rottie and I love to play with them both although they are senior dogs and sometimes need their space so I go away when they tell me. I am doing well on potty training. My mom thinks I'm smart because 80% of the time I find the potty pad or if she catches me in the act I run to the door to go outside because I forgot. I'm just a puppy! I sleep in my crate all night and take breaks in there during the day when mom is working upstairs. I'm a great puppy so don't wait too long to adopt me as I am getting bigger everyday!

Hi, my name is Orpheus and I am from Arkansas! Orpheus is a wonderful puppy. Sleep and snuggling are his spirit animals. If you make a crate cave-like he loves putting himself in there for naps throughout the day. He sleeps thru the night in a crate without any complaints he will alert you in the morning when he needs to go potty and then he even lets you sleep in longer after. He picked up "sit" very easily. He greets new people gently/submissively. He goes potty outside easily on a schedule. Accidents inside were on a puppy pad. He was great with cats showing calm interest and respecting boundaries he did very much want to play with them but he was waiting on their cues. He is also not a big barker. He does need help confidence building outside to new environments and noises maybe the guidance of another dog would help.

Story
Bubba is some sort of pointer mix and is about 4 years old. Such a sweet boy who has always welcomed affection and has such a love for life. When we found him, he was quite emaciated and required proper refeeding and lots of love. Our family felt as though he found us for a reason and therefore he has been at home with us, hoping his owners may respond to social media posts however this never happened and unfortunately, he was never microchipped. He is doing really well right now in regards to having gained appropriate weight and although we will miss him, we are not in a position to keep him long term. Bubba is a high energy dog that thinks he is a lap dog:) Requires ability to get significant amount of exercise daily. Loves walks, car rides and palling around. Knows basic commands. Walks well on a leash but requires redirection with bunnies/other dogs/some people as he will bark. Has started to play along fence line with neighbors dog. Warming up to our FIVE cats :)

When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!!
