You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $400 plus taxFoster Needed for “Buck” — the Lovable Repeat Offender If we can confirm a foster home, Buck can head to MARS and start his new life! Buck is a bit of a local legend in Eldorado Springs, MO — known for his charm, not his choices. This 2-year-old Pointer mix has found himself in the city pound more than once, not because he's a bad dog, but because his former family had a habit of opening the door and letting him roam… with no fenced yard. Buck, ever the optimist, would take himself on joyful little solo adventures around town until animal control brought him in. Each time, his people paid the fines and took him home — until now. No one came to get him this time, and the pound is nearly full. Buck is officially out of chances with his old life, but not out of options — if we can find him a foster. Buck is: ~2 years old Sweet as can be Energetic and happy Good with other dogs Possibly a Pointer mix He needs a fresh start and a home that will keep him safe, secure, and loved. If you're with a rescue or can offer a foster home, please reach out. Buck deserves better, and we’re ready to help him get it. If you have previously applied with us please email placement@midwestanimalrescue.org to reactivate your application with new interest. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Sadie is a comical, quirky, and spunky girl. She came from a neglect case in rural Kentucky, where she and other dogs were found abandoned and starving in an outdoor pen. Sadie is fortunate to be alive! Sadie is spunky when she is outside. Inside the house, she loves to curl up in a blanket on your bed or be cozy in a dog bed. Sadie loves bully sticks and will work them down as a beloved pastime. Sadie is well-behaved in the house, housebroken, and quiet. When she sees something out the window, she may alert vocally though! She is approximately 7.5 years old and weighs about 40 lbs. When outside, Sadie loves to zip around and explore. She does need a 6-foot fence as she can climb over a 4-foot fence. Sadie loves to go to the dog park and her favorite activity is to bark at other dogs in hopes that they will run so she can chase them.  Sadie is also a squirrel enthusiast so she will tree them and bark, both  in the yard and at the dog park, so sometimes she does need to be re-directed. Sadie loves to chase and bark at other dogs. She does not harm them, though she likes to dominate them like this to get them to play her game.   Sadie zips around like a racehorse at times and is agile and free. She goes from zero to 40 in about 3 seconds. Sadie is a joy to watch at the dog park, just keep walking (taking the lead) and that refocuses her energy! Sadie does have a little random incontinence (likely due to her age) and is on a medicine called Proin. She takes half a tab twice a day and it seems to help her greatly.  Sadie is a bit of an alpha, but can easily live with other dogs, and does mingle with all kinds of dogs at a dog park. Sadie is good with other dogs, older kids, but no cats for Sadie. This senior gal is very lovey-dovey, and loves to be pet, pampered, and smooched. She has a soft, yet also spunky nature and exudes sweet southern charm. Sadie is definitely one of a kind! Interested in adopting? Please complete an interest form on our website  here  If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org *Sadie's adoption fee is $495 + MN tax* redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@8 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dog's actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information ond observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 7, 2025, 6:39 pm

Story
Hi! I'm Brady! I'm from Kansas. From his foster: Brady is a stunning, exuberant, and affectionate pointer mix. Brady is a lot of fun! He is estimated to be 4 years old but still has a lot of puppy energy. He's happiest when playing, exercising, and learning. He requires physical and mental stimulation to thrive. Brady benefits from strong leadership and training. He is a dog who will bond strongly with his owner/leader. He completed a 6 week basic obedience training with his foster mom. He's learned his house manners and we're now working on leash skills and building confidence. He's a super smart boy. Brady attends dog day care once per week and does great! If you enjoy the loyalty and athleticism of working breeds, this handsome boy may be for you! Brady is a bit fearful of new situations. But once be feels safe, he's very affectionate. Has a teenager in his foster home, who he gets on great with. Not recommended for young children due to his strong play style. Brady likes his crate can be left for a few hours at a time. He is never crated all day and we do not leave him outside his crate when alone. A fenced yard would really help to keep Brady active, as would a dog companion. But not required if there are other options for exercise & engagement. From the vet team: Brady was found to be lyme positive. It is currently not causing any issues for Brady and likely a pre-existing condition.

Story
When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! ADOPT...........DON'T SHOP!!! My LIFE depends on it!!! LOcal adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Meet Magnet – Looking for His Steel… Could It Be You? 🧲🐾 Magnet is a 2.5-year-old, 35-pound bundle of joy, charm, and wiggles (butt wiggles, that is) – and he’s on the lookout for his perfect human connection. Could you be his missing piece? With a shiny coat that glows in the sunlight (seriously, you might need sunglasses 😎), Magnet is as stunning as he is sweet. He’s a tad bit shy at first meet but when he loves he loves with his whole being (he shakes that stubby so hard his whole body wiggles)!! He loves his people both tall and small, and he’s happiest, always having a smile on his face, just hanging out with his humans – whether it’s playtime, snuggle time, or adventure time. Magnet’s favorite things include: 🌊 Playing in water (he recently discovered it and is hooked!) 🐾 Going on walks and exploring the world 🧸 Chewing tough toys like a pro 💤 Napping like a champ after a day of fun 🐶 Making friends with other dogs – big or small, he gets along with everyone! He’s shown no prey drive, so he may even do well with cats (with proper introductions, of course). More than anything, Magnet just wants to be your loyal shadow, tagging along for all of life’s best moments (his magnet to your steel!). He’s a “living-life-large” kind of pup, always game for the next belly rub or backyard romp. If you’re ready for a companion who’s goofy, loving, and endlessly devoted, Magnet might just be your perfect match. Apply to adopt at haydudequine.org – Magnet is ready to stick by your side, wherever life takes you! 💙
