Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.//     Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.org Adoption Fee $350 plus tax Fun Smart Quick to Learn  Lovable Rio LOVES to play ball, go for walks and meet new people. Her favorite thing to do at the end of the day is hang with her people. She currently knows “sit”, “down”, “come”, and is actively working with her Foster Mom to learn “stay”....the sky's the learning limit for Rio though!  Rio can be particular about canine friends and would do best as an only dog or in a pack that would allow her to be top dog.   Note: If you have previously applied with us please email adoptionatmars@gmail.com to reactivate your application with new interest.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.   or     *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.   //

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.//     Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.org Adoption Fee $400 plus taxBetty is very sweet and loving.  She is happy to spend all of her time next to you having her head rubbed.  We’re working on keeping all 4 feet on the floor when asking for attention and she’s making fast progress.  Other than that jumping she’s pretty low energy.  She’s fully house trained and can be kept inside for long periods of time with no accidents.  When she goes outside she quickly does her business and comes back to the door.  So far I haven’t seen any zoomies or playing with toys but that may come later when she’s getting as much people attention as she would like.  Betty is kennel trained and has no complaints.  The only time we’ve heard barking is when she’s laying in a place that overlooks the road and she barks at trucks going by.  She responds quickly when asked to stop.  She gets along great with our dogs.  She seems to co-exist with them but doesn’t want to play yet.  We don’t have cats or kids but she’s very gentle in general.  She does just fine leash walking and could use some extra activity to burn off a few pounds.   If you have previously applied with us please email adoptionatmars@gmail.com to reactivate your application with new interest. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. We accept Credit cards, Debit cards as well as cash. At this time we do not accept checks. Our Adoption fees for all animals cover required vetting: which includes, Rabies, Distemper Vaccine Series, Bordetella, Deworming, Heartworm Test as age appropriate, Spay or Neuter and Microchip and registration. Adoption Fees are Non Negotialble. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Did I catch your eye? Learn more about me by reading my profile below; I just might be your new best friend! Apply on our website ( https://www.healingheartsrescue.org/adopt )  to  set up a private meeting or check below for my adoption event schedule. Come meet me at our adoption event at 9 Mile Brewing in Bloomington on Sunday, 10/1 from 1pm - 3pm!   Age: DOB 05/02/2023 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes, but prefers older/considerate kids Potty trained: No, I'm just a puppy Crate trained: Doing great when left alone in crate   Meet BB – a sweet, fun, and affectionate puppy with a big personality!  BB is 4 months old and still full of puppy energy.  She loves to spend time with her people, with other dogs, and be outside.  She is social and needs lots of interaction. BB enjoys walks and the leash but needs practice learning how to walk in a straight line next to her human - as a puppy, there is so much to smell and explore!   BB seems to struggle with transitions (any major life transitions like new home, new schedule, etc.) and will bark until she realizes you will ignore her barking. BB has yet to learn her kennel is a safe space and spends time in an xpen when her foster family is out of the house instead.  She will need continued guidance and practice learning how to walk on a leash as well as kenneling. She is close to being potty trained. If you’re looking for a puppy who is full of energy and love, take a closer look at sweet BB! Adoption Fee: $525 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. INTERESTED IN MEETING ME? If you’d like to arrange a private meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting    https://www.healingheartsrescue.org/adopt   **Note on breed and age determination:  Breed and age are often determined on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners.  Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.   ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: Wellness check Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate) Age appropriate vaccines - rabies as required by law and distemper combo or proof of positive titer test Heartworm test if over 7 months of age Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites Microchip &#226&#128&#139 ~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care. &#226&#128&#139~ Adoption fees are non-negotiable and fees are listed on the dog's profile   ~ Adoption fees can be paid the following ways with the required sales tax (7.525%) added: PayPal Credit Card Cash WANT TO HELP SAVE MORE DOGS?   Healing Hearts Rescue is a nonprofit, foster-based rescue located in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota that  is 100% funded through adoption fees and donations .  We are excited for you to join us on this mission to save the lives of dogs in need.   We believe every dog deserves to be loved as true members of a family and are committed to fulfilling that dream one dog at a time!
