You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please note that we can not guarantee the age, expected weight or breed of any animal. What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. If breed and eventual size are of great importance we suggest looking into a breed specific rescue or adopting a full grown animal. Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY.  ZORROLoki is approx 5yrs old and and 60lbs, housebroken and crate trained.  He enjoys his crate and goes into it when ever he is looking to relax. Loki has been good with other dogs, seems to prefer smaller or female dogs and would do well with an equally playful dog.  He walks well on a leash, would love to agility as he is very athletic and loves to jump. We would recommend Loki in a home without young children and with someone who can provide him structure and consistency. He walks well on the leash and loves time at the beach.   *reduced adoption fee $250*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 6:00 pm

If breed and eventual size are of great importance we suggest looking into a breed specific rescue or adopting a full grown animal. Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY.  Meet Eleanor! Eleanor is a lovely lady, approximately 2-3 years old, with a heart as warm as her fur. She's not just a dog; she's a testament to resilience and trust. Her journey started in a loud shelter, where she was a new mother to a litter of 8 precious puppies. Eleanor's protective instincts ran deep, making it challenging for her to trust humans. This situation put her and her little ones at risk of euthanasia. But then, a ray of hope shone through when Eleanor found her way to St. Francis Farm. Over time, in the safe and loving environment of the farm, she has made incredible strides in opening up and learning to trust our dedicated staff. Once she feels comfortable, Eleanor transforms into a total mush! It does still take a little time forher to warm up to new faces. We are looking for someone that would be comfortable coming to the farm and getting to know this precious girl. She adores being close to her person and is always eager to earn treats with her impeccable behavior. You'll find her peacefully content in her kennel, only becoming vocal when it's feeding time. Eleanor is a social butterfly among her fellow canine friends, enjoying their company and outdoor playtime. Yet, she equally cherishes those quiet moments when she can curl up in your lap and bask in the affection you share. Eleanor is a true testament to the transformative power of love and care. If you're looking for a loyal companion who'll warm your heart, consider welcoming Eleanor into your life. Come meet her at St. Francis Farm and experience the magic of her journey firsthand. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 6:00 pm

If breed and eventual size are of great importance we suggest looking into a breed specific rescue or adopting a full grown animal. Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY.  Meet Viv Viv is a 6-month-old, 30-pound bundle of pure joy with a heart as big as her adorable puppy eyes. This sweet girl loves giving kisses and is happiest when she's close to her people—or curled up with a favorite toy after a fun day of play. While she's a little more reserved than some puppies, Viv's playful side shines when she's having fun. She's the rough-and-tumble wrestler of the pair, happily growling during play sessions before settling down to quietly chew on a toy in the grass or snuggle up for cuddles. Viv is very food motivated, making her eager to learn and a wonderful candidate for continued training. She has all the makings of a loyal, well-mannered companion and is ready to grow alongside a loving family. She gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids, making her an easy fit for many different homes. Whether it's playtime, relaxing in the backyard, or soaking up affection from her favorite people, Viv approaches life with a gentle spirit and a happy heart. Viv and her sister, Tilly, have wonderfully different personalities, which makes them both special in their own way. While they love to roughhouse and wrestle when they're together, they are incredibly independent puppies and do not rely on each other. In fact, when they're apart, they're calm, happy, well-adjusted puppies who settle in beautifully. They can be adopted together or separately and will thrive either way. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate puppy who offers the perfect balance of playful fun and quiet companionship, Viv is ready to become your new best friend.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 5, 2026, 12:18 pm

Story
Woof (Hi)... My name is Lita! I am an adorable little girl that packs a big punch! I am super athletic; I run, leap and bounce everywhere I go. I am super fast and definitely need someplace that I can safely run around. I am house trained and am ok with living in small spaces, like an apartment, as long as you take me somewhere to play! I love to play with toys - I will collect them all, while I am running around. I am also very sweet, but shy at first. Once we get to know each other, I will be your best friend! I am good with other dogs - even great big ones! I am getting pretty good with the house cat here, too! Please take me home, so I can love you, and be loved! I am currently living in Puerto Rico, but there are free flights to New Jersey, available every month, and my adoption fee covers the necessary tests and certificate for travel. ***When inquiring about one of our beautiful pups, please be sure to include your phone number.
