Story
Hudson is the sweetest boy - but unfortunately, being 9 months old, his puppy energy is too much for our senior dog and has led to many fights making it necessary to find him a more suitable home. He does wonderful with other young pups at the park. He is crate trained and is working on potty training but still has some peeing accidents in the home. He is wonderful with kiddos - we have a two year old daughter and even had him at a play date with four of her toddler friends and he was fantastic. He loves to run and play and is a total snuggle bug. If he was our only pup we’d keep him in a heartbeat, but unfortunately we need to keep our old lady dog happy and safe. We have a cat and he does tend to fixate on her, but has not attacked her - so cats in the home should be fine with training and supervision. He will be rehomed with his overflowing basket of toys, his harness and leash and the remaining supply of his flea and tick medicine!

🐾 Meet Harley – Your Loyal, Loving, & Playful Companion! 🐾 Pointer Lab Mix 🐶 Name: Harley Quinn - spayed 🎂 Age: 6 🏡 Looking For: A loving home with space to run, lots of affection, and a family who understands my needs. 💖 About Me Hello, future family! My name is Harley, and I am a smart, loving, and protective pup looking for my forever home. I have a big heart, lots of energy, and a personality that will keep you smiling! I love my humans fiercely, and I will always be by your side—whether we’re playing outside, snuggling on the couch, or just hanging out together. Unfortunately my parents are separating, and my mom is having a really hard time meeting my needs though the change. I know how sad she is to see me go, but she knows I will be so much happier in a stable home!

Story
Meet Sadie the Lady, a 2-year-old 45 lb pointer mix looking for her forever home. This sweet and spicy diva has a heart of gold! She is a total lovebug and once she bonds with you, she will be your loyal companion for life. If you're looking for a rescue dog to spoil, Sadie is the lady for you.Sadie is the perfect mix of playful and couch potato. She needs to play daily but also enjoys lounging on the couch and cuddling with her favorite human. Sadie's ideal home will include someone who works from home or spends a lot of time there, just because she really loves her people. If left at home she does not prefer a crate but will be on her best behavior waiting on the couch for your return.Sadie is fully potty trained and can get a little overexcited on a leash walk, but responds well to training from her patient and consistent human. She is super smart and a quick learner! Sadie would do best with a submissive dog where she can be the boss but would also be happy to be the only dog. No cats please. Sudden movements can make her nervous so humans 12 and over would be best.If you are looking for a loyal, loving, sweet, silly and sassy companion, Sadie is the perfect match for you. Please give this lovable pup the patience and chance for a loving home she deserves.adoptsadie9122@gmail.com Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Ticked Weight: 44 Age: 2yrs 6mths 2wks

Story
Hello! My name is Freckles, I came into the shelter as a stray so my history is unknown. The person who found me said I enjoyed playing with their dog though proper introductions are always recommended to ensure harmony. I have also shown to have high prey drive so should not be in a home with cats or small animals. I enjoy getting attention from people and peanut butter is my favorite treat! Thanks for considering adopting me!Freckles and her unrivaled speckles are still waiting for a home. Check out these lovely insights from her adventure buddy...`Freckles is the sweetest girl ever. She is super energetic and loves to play with her toys. She prefers soft toys so she can rip them up and loves to chase a tennis ball. After she’s done playing she becomes the most cuddly girl and loves to curl up next to you on the couch and snore. She still needs some training but is a very sweet girl!!``My husband and I really enjoyed going on a hike with Freckles. She was very excited when we picked her up, but calmed down as soon as she got in the car. We took her to Carolina North Forest and found that she loves hiking in the woods and finding all the scents. She only pulled on the leash for the first several minutes, and after that she was great on the leash and was calm and focused on the hike. She was able to easily hike about 3.5 miles and seemed strong the whole time. She would occasionally stop and come back to us for pets, and then get back to sniffing along the trail. She easily passed other walkers, runners, and bikes, but had some trouble passing other dogs - she would pull and try to go meet them. We started stopping and giving her treats when we saw other dogs and that helped quite a bit. When we drove back to the shelter after the hike, she climbed into my lap and took a short nap. Freckles is an excellent hiking/walking companion and is a very sweet and affectionate girl.`

Clouds be gone...it's all sunshine from here on out and Sunshine will absolutely bring a ray of happiness! If that white stripe and those floppy ears don't win your heart, we have no idea what will. Sunshine is a teenage pointer mix who weighs about 28 lbs now with room to grow and fill out. Talk about FUN! Sunshine is a social butterfly and loves the company of dogs and loves to run even more. She is an active pup who would love an active family. She gets along great with other dogs and especially loves those who are playful too. Sunshine is learning lots and has been doing great in her crate and loves regular good meals like any kid does. She is a joy to be around and is ready to spread her joy in your home.

Story
Ever heard the saying "Stone cold fox"? Meaning handsome...he's a real looker...ooh la la looking? Well Stone is aptly named because this teenage pointer mix should be on magazine covers and be the hottest new triple threat around. Stone is a young man who just weighs about 25 lbs now but has plenty of room to grow and fill out. Stone is super fun and does great with all of the other dogs...always in search of a friend and never fails to find one. He is social and active and would love an active family to be on the go, showing him lots of stuff. Other dogs would be great as he could swing it along and be thrilled too. Stone is ready to be the rock you come home to every day!
