Story
Meet Lotti‑Da. She’s the opposite of pretentious and doesn’t have to try hard to win you over. This 39‑pound brown‑and‑white terrier mix struts through life like she’s the star of her own show, complete with perky ears, freckles, and enough energy to power a small village. Terrier people will recognize the signs immediately: big personality, bold opinions, and a mischievous streak that keeps you laughing even when she’s being a little too clever for her own good. Lotti‑Da is strong—both in will and in muscle—and she needs a family who’s ready to invest in daily exercise and mental challenges. She’s smart, independent, and quick to learn… once she decides the lesson is worth her time. Consistent training and a sense of humor will go a long way with this girl. Underneath all that spark, she’s shaping up to be deeply loyal and affectionate. If you’re ready for a dog who brings energy, personality, and a whole lot of Lotti‑Da flair into your life, she’s waiting. Scoop up this freckled firecracker and let Lotti‑Da turn your everyday life into one great adventure. **Hiker feedback: " Lotti Da here, reporting from the hiking trail! WOW, WOW, WOW I had such a great time out there!!!! I am passionate about adventures, taste testing snacks, getting my paws wet (CAREFULLY), and OMG FRIENDSHIP! I can be enthusiastic on the leash at first, but be patient with me- the woods smell like friendship and a good time and that makes my body SO EXCITED!! Once I get some of my energy out I’m really very polite and just happy to be there with all my buddies! *Sleepover notes: " She's very sweet and affectionate. A great dog, whoever adopts her will be very happy! She does well in the car. Initial pulling on the leash bc she was raring to go! She eventually calmed her pace to yours. *Additional info: " Lotti-da was a blast. She is such a happy sweet and ready to explore gal. She loved toys, looking out window, cuddling and soaking up all your attention. she would fit perfect in an active family couple or single. Had an awesome weekend with her.

Story
(DOB 11/13/2022) Mason is a big, loveable, wonderful boy! Be prepared for some love and affection when you meet Mason. This big boy has a knack for leaning right into you, seeking scratches and cuddles. Speaking of scratches, he loves that sweet spot on his back, near his tail scratced; it feels wonderful and he'll be sure to share his big smile! This adorable dog with a heart of gold is all about spending quality time with his favorite people. Whether it's going for long walks, snuggling on the couch, or playing fetch in the back yard, Mason is up for any adventure as long as he's with you! Mason would love a big yard to romp and run in but he's just as happy going for a walk with you! Mason is a social butterfly when it comes to interacting with other dogs. He loves making new friends and playing around, but he prefers smaller play groups to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Cats, on the other hand, don't quite understand Mason's playful nature, so it's best to give them a wide berth! He might not realize his own size, and he can be a bit clumsy at times. So, older kids who understand his exuberance are his best playmates! Don't be fooled by his silly antics – Mason is one smart cookie! He has mastered impressive tricks like sitting, spinning, and shaking, all for the promise of a tasty treat. Easy to crate, he'll only make a peep if he can't see you, so you can rest assured that your home will stay peaceful with Mason around, but when he does bark, it is loud.  When it comes to toys, there's one that reigns supreme in Mason's heart: a squeaky rubber chicken. He'll toss it, bat it, and have a grand old time playing with it all by himself. If you want to join in on the fun, just throw it and watch Mason happily chase after it! A rubber Frisbee is also a favorite, though he doesn't always bring it back – hey, sharing can be overrated! With Mason by your side, you'll always feel safe and secure. He's a natural watch dog who will bark at any stranger. Always the protector, he would do better in a home that doesn't have a have a lot of company in and out, and will need proper introduction to household visitors.  Mason embodies the true meaning of loyalty and will be by your side through thick and thin. So, if you're looking for a hilarious, loving, and slightly clumsy companion, look no further than Mason the dog. He's ready to fill your life with laughter, love, and endless joy. Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime with this lovable goofball! As part of Mason's $325 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.  If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Mason, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##1708177##

Story
(DOB 01/20/2021) Mia is a low-maintenance pup and is always up for a snuggle session. With her gentle nature and affectionate personality, she's the perfect companion for anyone seeking a furry friend to share their love and affection with. Mia's heart is as big as her adorable paws, making her the ultimate snuggle buddy. Don't miss out on the chance to bring this sweet and easy-going girl into your life! Mia will do well with furry siblings or an owner that can provide enough attention so she could also be an only dog. She is also good with children but is startled by quick/sudden movements. So older, more experienced dog-kiddos are best suited for her. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Other than that, she really loves everyone she meets. She is already both house and crate trained and is well behaved in her crate. She enjoys going out for walks and is leash trained. She is learning new things like car rides and is a little nervous at first but settles in nicely on the drive.  Mia has the silkiest ears with the cutest little freckles on them. She has a smile that will warm your heart and radiate throughout the day. She is at a great age and is a wonderful mid-size. Plus, she can do that super cute brow furrow that wrinkles up and is so adoarble. She really checks off so many boxes and will add so much love to you and your family!! If you are looking for a lifetime of unconditional love, Mia wants to meet you! Fill out an application today! As part of Mia's $300 adoption fee she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Story
Pointer people...this bio is pointing you our way out at Saving Grace as Molly P is a lady who mixes the fabulous looks of her breed with a great cuddly, easy going style that is priceless! Molly P is an adult GSP who clearly had people in her life in the past as she comes to us with all of the signs of being a spoiled lady. Molly P weighs a sturdy 85 lbs now and is aware (well maybe not really) that some of the green bean diet needs to be heading her way as well as regular walks and exercise. Molly P is a refined lady who likes the creature comforts of home life and is tidy, always keeping her crate clean, as well as easy peasy when it comes to getting along with dogs and people alike. She, and all of her white and brown speckles, is eagerly awaiting her chance at landing in a home that will spoil her, love her, and make her part of the family.
