Story
Despite his name, Edmonton is not a big hockey guy but is willing to become one if that's important to his furever peeps because this guy is simply...go with the flow. This lab mix adult weighs about 64 lbs and is a little lean, so will likely need to gain just a few more to full out. This black and white handsome devil (not from New Jersey though) has been nothing but laid back since arriving to the farm. He isn't sure about the routine yet but is settling in nicely and is learning about doggo friends, human pets and attentions and the promise of a happy ever after. Edmonton is totally willing to engage the power play to get to that. This gentle guy would likely settle into most homes easily. He is quiet and well behaved in his crate, always patient and not pushy and so appreciative for everything. Edmonton is ready to SCORE! his furever family (and will wear a hockey jersey during the winter months if desired)!

Story
Ever heard the saying "Stone cold fox"? Meaning handsome...he's a real looker...ooh la la looking? Well Stone is aptly named because this teenage pointer mix should be on magazine covers and be the hottest new triple threat around. Stone is a young man who just weighs about 25 lbs now but has plenty of room to grow and fill out. Stone is super fun and does great with all of the other dogs...always in search of a friend and never fails to find one. While super social with other dogs, Stone is why around humans though once he gets to know you, will begin to open up. Stone would do best in a home with other dogs to lead the way and patient people who know that some of the best things in life come with time and are earned. Stone has made a lot of steps at the farm and has recent joined the hiking team and is broadening his horizons every day. While he will likely ever want to be the center of a party, he very much wants to find a safe space to land and call home. **Volunteer Dog Walk feedback: "He didn’t mind the road or cars. He was ok to be middle of the pack. He loved the puddles!! If Tasha jumped through a puddle he followed suit! I don’t think they missed one. He was great with the other dogs. He did a few happy bunny hops and really got into a groove".  **Additional Hiking feedback: " He loves to hike! His tail was out and he sniffed and made sure he did not miss a puddle. Big or small!  He likes to be middle of the pack".

Story
Only celebrities have super cool names, so we’re assuming Marcus B must be a celebrity as he sure is handsome and comes with a fancy title and a Hollywood fun kind of attitude with his doggo friends but is definitely a shy guy looking for a nice safe place to call home. Marcus B is a a teeny-bopper who weighs about 40 lbs now but has maybe a little more room to grow. He is a party kinda guy with all of his doggo friends, and has a TON of them. Never to be called boring, Marcus B likes to run and romp all the day long. He is shy and unsure in new settings and with new people but very much wants to live his best life and deserves to feel confident in how wonderful he is on the inside. Marcus B would love a family that understands shy dogs and definitely needs another dog in the home as he gains confidence with his mates around. Hollywood best watch out if Marcus B heads that way. He may he headlining the movie "Shy Boys Need Love", but he's just as much of a showstopper nonetheless.

Story
(DOB 11/13/2022) Meet Mason, the lovable goofball with a heart of gold! This adorable dog is all about spending quality time with his favorite people. Whether it's going for long walks, snuggling on the couch, or playing fetch in the park, Mason is up for any adventure as long as he's with you! Mason is a social butterfly when it comes to interacting with other dogs. He loves making new friends and playing around, but he prefers smaller play groups to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Cats, on the other hand, don't quite understand Mason's playful nature, so it's best to give them a wide berth! Don't be fooled by his silly antics – Mason is one smart cookie! He has mastered impressive tricks like sitting, spinning, and shaking, all for the promise of a tasty treat. Easy to crate, he'll only make a peep if he can see you, so you can rest assured that your home will stay peaceful with Mason around, but when he does bark, it is loud.  When it comes to toys, there's one that reigns supreme in Mason's heart: a squeaky rubber chicken. He'll toss it, bat it, and have a grand old time playing with it all by himself. If you want to join in on the fun, just throw it and watch Mason happily chase after it! A rubber Frisbee is also a favorite, though he doesn't always bring it back – hey, sharing can be overrated! Be prepared for some love and affection when you meet Mason. This big boy has a knack for leaning into you, seeking scratches and cuddles. He might not realize his own size, and he can be a bit clumsy at times. So, older kids who understand his exuberance are his best playmates! With Mason by your side, you'll always feel safe and secure. He's a natural watch dog who will bark at any stranger. Always the protector, he would do better in a home that doesn't have a have a lot of company in and out, and will need proper introduction to household visitors.  Mason embodies the true meaning of loyalty and will be by your side through thick and thin. So, if you're looking for a hilarious, loving, and slightly clumsy companion, look no further than Mason the dog. He's ready to fill your life with laughter, love, and endless joy. Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime with this lovable goofball! As part of Mason's $325 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.  If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Mason, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##1708177##

Story
(DOB 01/20/2021) Mia is a low-maintenance pup and is always up for a snuggle session. With her gentle nature and affectionate personality, she's the perfect companion for anyone seeking a furry friend to share their love and affection with. Mia's heart is as big as her adorable paws, making her the ultimate snuggle buddy. Don't miss out on the chance to bring this sweet and easy-going girl into your life! Mia will do well with furry siblings or an owner that can provide enough attention so she could also be an only dog. She is also good with children but is startled by quick/sudden movements. So older, more experienced dog-kiddos are best suited for her. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Other than that, she really loves everyone she meets. She is already both house and crate trained and is well behaved in her crate. She enjoys going out for walks and is leash trained. She is learning new things like car rides and is a little nervous at first but settles in nicely on the drive.  Mia has the silkiest ears with the cutest little freckles on them. She has a smile that will warm your heart and radiate throughout the day. She is at a great age and is a wonderful mid-size. Plus, she can do that super cute brow furrow that wrinkles up and is so adoarble. She really checks off so many boxes and will add so much love to you and your family!! If you are looking for a lifetime of unconditional love, Mia wants to meet you! Fill out an application today! As part of Mia's $300 adoption fee she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. If you have any questions about this girl you can email dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. Story
Meet Sadie the Lady, a 2-year-old 45 lb pointer mix looking for her forever home. This sweet and spicy diva has a heart of gold! She is a total lovebug and once she bonds with you, she will be your loyal companion for life. If you're looking for a rescue dog to spoil, Sadie is the lady for you.Sadie is the perfect mix of playful and couch potato. She needs to play daily but also enjoys lounging on the couch and cuddling with her favorite human. Sadie's ideal home will include someone who works from home or spends a lot of time there, just because she really loves her people. If left at home she does not prefer a crate but will be on her best behavior waiting on the couch for your return.Sadie is fully potty trained and can get a little overexcited on a leash walk, but responds well to training from her patient and consistent human. She is super smart and a quick learner! Sadie would do best with a submissive dog where she can be the boss but would also be happy to be the only dog. No cats please. Sudden movements can make her nervous so humans 12 and over would be best.If you are looking for a loyal, loving, sweet, silly and sassy companion, Sadie is the perfect match for you. Please give this lovable pup the patience and chance for a loving home she deserves.adoptsadie9122@gmail.com Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Ticked Weight: 44 Age: 2yrs 9mths 2wks
