I may not be the dog who runs right up to meet everyone, but if you give me a little time and patience, you’ll discover a loyal companion with a heart full of love. New people and unfamiliar situations can make me a bit nervous at first, so I like to take things slow and get to know you at my own pace. Once I feel comfortable, I enjoy being close to my favorite people and soaking up quiet affection. There’s nothing better than knowing I’m safe and loved. I’m looking for a family that understands that trust takes time and is willing to help me build my confidence. With gentle encouragement and a stable home, I know I’ll continue to come out of my shell and show just how wonderful a friend I can be. Meet Fenway, Fenny was born on 2/12/25 and is a Great Dane/Pointer mix who was surrendered to our rescue. Fenway is great with other dogs and loves people so much that he wants to stand up on his back legs and give the best bear hugs! He is learning how to walk on a leash and does very well with basic commands like "sit" "stay" and "lay down".
