Weighing in at 38 pounds, Birdie is already potty trained, crate trained, active and healthy. She’s a fetch enthusiast and will happily chase after anything you throw—though she’s still working on bringing it back every time! She's great on a leash and can entertain herself for hours in a fenced yard. Birdie is a social butterfly who gets along great with other dogs, whether big or small. She warms up to everyone very quickly, especially when she realizes you're her new best friend. She would also be great with older kids. Birdie is smart, affectionate, and sweet. She’s got a laid-back side too — if you let her, she’d happily curl up next to you for hours. This brave little pup was found on Christmas Eve on a cold and rainy night in Texas. She was found abandoned by a boat with fireworks going off nearby. She was so scared that she jumped right into her foster’s EV, ready to find safety and love! Since then, she’s blossomed into a happy, affectionate companion who can’t wait to find her forever family. Calliope is a Pointer/Labrador Retriever mix, she weighs around 60 lbs and is around 2 years old. Calliope is very active, and she will need a family that can keep her properly exercised. Hiking, walks/runs, and a large, securely fenced yard to run would be ideal for her. She is very sweet but can get over excited and will need continuation of basic obedience as well as leash manners and working on not jumping when excited. Because she is large and jumpy, we are recommending no small children as she could accidently knock them over. Calliope is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. MEET LITTLE DUDE & PRINCE! This very unusual bonded pair of seniors lost their home in 2022, when the landlord said they had to go, for no fault of their own. They need a foster or forever home and have patiently waited for some wonderful person or people to adopt them. Little Dude is an 11-year-old pointer/pit mix, sweet as can be. He weighs about 60 lbs. Prince is a 14-year-old Pomeranian mix, and he is good with other dogs, though he is starting to get dementia. Prince weighs about 25 lbs. They are both people friendly, but Little Dude only wants to be with Prince -- so they need a home together as the only pets if possible. They are gentle, loving dogs who deserve a second chance in life with people who will love them through the rest of their years. They really need a home now! They are in good health and happy, and would do well with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. Please email for an application. Marvin is a sweet and noble dog, 1.5 years old and 30 pounds. He was hanging around the shelter for a couple of weeks, he was given food, water and some love, but we decided to take him in when he arrived really injured and covered in blood, we think he was attacked by dogs. Fortunately in his medical checkup he didn't come out with many problems, and he is now healthy and ready for his new home! He knows how to coexist with other dogs, although he has his temper, he is usually very tolerant with effusive puppies. He likes to sleep in his giant bed, is crate-trained, house-trained and is sociable and friendly with new people. He knows how to ride in a car, and smiles when you scold him, he is adorable! We don't know exactly what breed he is, google lens finds a resemblance to an English Pointer and Andalusian ratter. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar.
