He is happiest stretched out in a cozy bed or curled up beside his person, enjoying a long, peaceful nap. He loves being near his people, enjoys being held, and offers quiet companionship without being demanding. Energy and Personality Bernie is truly a low energy dog. He prefers lounging and gentle moments over busy activity. Short walks and a little playtime with his favorite toys are just right for him, and then he is content to settle back down.
