Nightfall is an absolute angel, and her forever family is going to be so lucky. She's a gentle soul who loves nothing more than soft pets and being told she's the bestest girl of them all. Her perfect day would be filled with nothing but sweet talk, an all day petting session on the living room rug, and people watching from a quiet spot with her favorite human. Beyond her sweetness, she's one of the softest and fluffiest little foxes you'll ever meet. She gets excited to have you join her floor time for brushing, as long as some pets are mixed in.
She's building her confidence every day and becoming braver and braver, and she'd love to spend her forever with a family excited to help her feel safe as she explores new experiences. She loves observing the world (especially people watching!), though the world can be overwhelming for such a sweet girl, so being both her protector and cheerleader will be top priority.
She's never had an accident in the house, and take's her potty training very seriously - only grass will do for her! Having a yard with limited stairs is her ultimate dream, where she can slowly meander out and show you how proud she is of having gone. She can have some pep in her step when cheered on to go outside, and loves to explore quiet areas, though she prefers walks to be <20 mins so she doesn't get ouchie joints. As she's gaining confidence, she's also learning that she doesn't need to protect her humans from other dogs on walks (hey - they started it first!).
Sleeping is one of her favorite hobbies (outside of 2 hour long petting sessions), and she's been an easygoing girl who happily naps while we're out of the house.
Fostering her has been such an honor, and she has nothing but love to give. It's been so joyous to have her in the home, and she's just the most perfect home companion. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this sweet girl!

Yes! A few key things.
Vision: whether Nightfall is just a bit clumsy or has limited vision is TBD, but she does best in lit environments and her human keeping a keen eye out for hazards like steps, holes in the ground, or walls.
Mobility: she's a great walker and easily can get some pep in her step, but she doesn't have the hip strength to jump up or down on furniture. Best to have rugs so she doesn't slip, and help up and down on any furniture.
Eating: she's a grazer who isn't very interested in food, so she'll need patience with her eating. Sprinkling some chicken on top and wetting her food into a mush will help her ensure she's properly nourished!
Reactivity: she likes to put on her best guard dog impression while outside on the leash or in the yard when other dogs try to engage with her (excessive eye contact, pulling toward her, barking, etc) within about 30 feet. She's learning how to redirect and stay under threshold, but she'll need a partner in crime who is excited about helping her build her confidence around other dogs on leash.
Loud spaces: she can get overwhelmed easily, especially in loud or busy spaces. Though I don't doubt she will be able to be a coffee shop dog soon, she needs patience to build her confidence in quiet areas and gently be introduced to new spaces outside of the home.
Cars: she has a very big interest in cars that are moving or that folks are getting in/out of, and she could easily put herself into danger as she likes to go right up to these moving cars. She'll need her human to be extra cautious around cars to ensure she doesn't end up hurt.
Reverse sneezing: she often reverse sneezes, and while this isn't inherently harmful for her, learning how to help her through these sneezes will make her life more comfortable."
