Story
Current Location: Korea 🇰🇷 🐾✨ Meet JISU — A Gentle & Sweet Pom Mix Girl Looking for Her Forever Family ✨🐾 🌸 A soft soul who just wants to belong. 🌸 📌 Basic Info 🐶 Name: Jisu (JISU) 🎀 Age: 3 years old 👧 Gender: Female ⚖️ Weight: 4.9 kg 🐾 Breed: Pomeranian Mix 💉 Vaccinations / Spay-Neuter: Completed 💛 Personality & Charm Jisu is shy at first, but she really wants to be close to people. She quietly stays nearby, observes, trusts slowly… and then one day, she melts into your arms and holds on tight. 🥹💞 Calm, gentle, and loving — the perfect companion for a peaceful home. 👨‍👩‍👧 With Adults & Kids 🧑 Adults: Takes time to warm up, but becomes affectionate and loyal once she trusts you 🧒 Kids: Calm and gentle, okay with being next to them or being touched ⚠️ If kids run or shout loudly, she chooses to observe from a distance 🐶 With Other Animals 🐕 Dogs: Excellent! — polite greetings and sometimes playful with her favorite friends 🐱 Cats: Good! — sniffs and ignores 🦜 Lives peacefully with a parrot in her foster home 🚽 House-training ✨ 100% reliable! ✔ Outdoor potty ✔ Indoor pee pads ✔ Balcony turf ➡️ Very easy and stress-free 🔋 Energy Level ⚡ Low ~ Medium 🏡 Quiet and peaceful at home 🐕 At the park, lightly plays with familiar friends or just jogs along with the group 🗣 Separation Anxiety / Barking / Aggression 💛 Separation anxiety: ❌ 🔔 Barking: ❌ (very minimal) 💥 Aggression: ❌ If scared, she may growl or bark once/twice to say “I’m uncomfortable” — never attacks. 🚶‍♀️ Walks & Car Rides 🌳 Loves walking 🪑 If you sit on a bench, she sits right beside you for comfort 🥹 🚗 Excellent in the car — even waits politely before getting in 🏃 Escape Tendency Because she can get startled, double safety (double leash + secure harness) is recommended. In familiar places, even if the leash slips, she stays close and doesn’t run far. ➡️ Once bonded, she wants to stay within her person’s sight ❤️ 🐾 Rescue Story Jisu lived one year at Gokseong Shelter with her sister Subin. On the day they were scheduled for euthanasia, both were rescued together. She was pregnant at the time and later gave birth to three puppies (she is 💗 Pony’s mom). Now, after everything she has survived… it’s finally her turn to be loved. 📍 Jisu is ready for her forever home. She doesn’t need much — just patience, kindness, and a safe heart to land in. 🤍 If you think she may be the missing piece of your family…♡

Read All About Them: The News Puppies Are Ready for Adoption Hot off the press, we bring you the feel-good story of the season: five tiny “News puppies” who have turned their foster home into a bustling newsroom of play, cuddles, and nonstop puppy antics. These 9-10 week old pups may be small, but their personalities make front-page headlines every single day. Morning Edition The newsroom comes alive around 7:00 a.m., when the News puppies wake up ready to start the day. With five growing pups on staff, kibble is available for grazing throughout the day (no scoop hogs here), and everyone handles it responsibly. Dinner service wraps up around 8:00 p.m., and they’ll transition easily to a more traditional three-meals-a-day schedule in their forever homes. Fresh water is available during the day as well, before bedtime routines begin.   They share a roomy x-pen with a big, cozy dog bed where they’re often found piled together like a stack of morning papers. Impressively for such young puppies, they are doing very well using pee pads and keeping their space tidy—clearly a well-run operation. Breaking News: Playtime Report These puppies have plenty of room to romp and play on their own, but they also enjoy supervised playtime once or twice a day with their much larger 45-lb Husky mix foster brother. Despite the size difference, the News puppies approach these interactions with confidence, curiosity, and lots of tail wags. Watching them bounce around with their little bunny-hop excitement is a story worth re-reading.   Meet the Editorial Team   Leaders: Tribune & Beacon Tribune is animated, spunky, and always ready to take charge of the next game. He’s especially passionate about toys and never misses a chance to jump into a tug-of-war. Beacon, the fluffiest of the bunch, is a soft, lovable teddy bear who balances leadership with calm charm—and a healthy appreciation for snacks.   The Team Players: Chronicle, Times & Ledger Chronicle and Ledger are your classic “sources close to the story”—they like to stay near their humans and are quick to snuggle up after playtime. Ledger is particularly endearing, known for a tiny whine-chirp he uses when requesting pickup and premium cuddles. Chronicle pairs his love of food with a talent for serious naps, making him one of the newsroom’s most efficient recharge specialists. Times, the only girl and the smallest on staff, is proof that size does not determine column inches. She can absolutely hold her own with her brothers, climbing all over her people with confidence and charm. Equal parts princess and angel, she also happens to be one of the more adventurous reporters, boldly initiating play with the big foster brother alongside Tribune.   Special Features Outgoing & Social: All five puppies  Toy Enthusiasts: Everyone, with Tribune and Ledger leading the charge Food Critics: Chronicle & Beacon Kings of Naps: Ledger & Chronicle Cuddle Bugs: Everyone, with Ledger (first to kiss hello) and Times (professional climber) as the pros Final Edition Every one of the News puppies is a happy, well-adjusted little soul who thrives on play, companionship, and affection. They’re curious, confident, and full of joy—and they’re ready to bring daily good news into their forever homes.  Don’t let this story pass you by. Story
Meet Sweet Foxy! Foxy is a beautiful 2-year-old, 15.8-pound cream with apricot-coloring Pomeranian mix with a shy but charming personality. She’s blossoming more each day and has a delightful character that will win your heart. Foxy would thrive as your one and only love, especially if you work from home and enjoy cuddling and holding your pup. She gets along well with other dogs, making her a great companion for a multi-dog household if desired. She’s still learning leash manners and may need some house training, but she’s doing well when kept on a consistent schedule. Foxy is scheduled to be spayed soon, but we’re actively seeking her perfect forever home now. She’s microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Breed experience is preferred, especially since Pomeranians require regular grooming—both at home and professionally—to keep them looking their best. Could you be the one to give Foxy the pampered, loving life she deserves? She’s a darling girl looking for her forever family! If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5.
