Meet Mr. Possum, an older adult (approx. 10 years old) male Pomeranian weighing about 6 lbs!  Mr. Possum is too old to neuter and doesn't have many if any teeth but he is the sweetest boy! Mr. Possum arrived in CT on 6/13. We are accepting applications on him now! His foster said, "Mr. Possum looks at you with pure love and devotion!" Mr. Possum is medically up to date, housebroken, and working on crate training. Apply to meet this special pup today! As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
