Story
bony is a 10 year old Pomeranian who weighs 12 lbs.  She and her buddy Timmy were surrendered to a rural middle Tennessee shelter in July.  We are not sure why as she is a wonderful little lady.  Ebony is good with other dogs both her size and bigger.  She is also good with cats.  Ebony loves hanging out in her foster mom's fenced in yard and socializing with the other foster dogs.  She goes on daily walks around 'the field' with her foster mom.  Since coming to Miss Peggy's Ebony has lost a few lbs.  She only has a couple of lbs to go and she will have her girlish figure back.  Ebony is a sweet little girl who would love a forever home where she is loved and adored.  She wants to be with the people and will happily curl up beside you to watch TV.  She is also a nice little cuddelier at night so please let her sleep with you.  Ebony would be good in a home with another dog or two or fine as an only dog.  She is housebroken, doggie door trained and walks OK on a leash.  She could use a little help with the leash though.  Ebony has been spayed and is current on her shots, heartworm negative, on monthly preventative and microchipped.  She has also had bloodwork done.  To be considered for Ebony's forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Ebony is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)September 12, 2024, 11:19 pm

Super soft fur " Falcor is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet him today!  ##2172218##

Story
Sissie is an absolute love bug that thinks if 1 minutes goes by without being held, that is 1 minute too many! This little social butterfly weighs 5 pounds and knows that is just the perfect size for canine arm candy. She was born 11/19/21. Sissie is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, had a dental, tested heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea & tick prevention to maintain her good health. Due to her small size she will not be considered for homes with small children. Sissie is located in Arkansas. Her adoption donation is $1000 plus a $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Sissie please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. href="http://dhd.coffeecup.com/forms/bhsapp/">You can find a copy of that application here. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer will contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Oakley, is a very social, sweet, adorable little male Pomeranian that loves to be held and loves to snuggle. This 5-pound little guy was born on 11/19/21. He was born with malformed knees, also called stifles, which cause him to move with somewhat lowered hindquarters like he is getting ready to sit or squat. However, this does not slow him down and when he hears his name called, he comes running. Oakley is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, had a dental, tested heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea & tick prevention to maintain his good health. Due to his small size he will not be considered for homes with small children. Oakley is located in Arkansas. His adoption donation is $800 and the transport fee is $165. If you would like to adopt Oakley, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here.
