This is a beautiful boy who is just the best little thing.  He only weighs 16 pounds and the vet has guestimated his age to be 2 years old.  RIO was dumped at an elementary school of which my girlfriend is a teacher.  She called me that people had just dumped him. RIO came into my home with the best manners, quiet and obedient.  He sticks really close to me but does not get in the way.  2 of the male foster dogs bark at him but he does not react, he retreats and ignores them.  RIO does not have a bad bone in his body, no aggression anywhere.  He is housetrained and pottytrained.  He hates going into the crate which I use sparingly.  I put him in the crate yesterday to take him to be neutered and he had a fit.  He really is trustworthy around the house when I am gone. Sadie is 6 years old and 13 pounds, she was surrendered by her owners because the owner travels with her job and could not take care of them.  Sadie was found on the streets with her companion Ginger who is also available for adoption.  Their original owner had rehomed them to someone who let them on the streets along with an 11 year old male chihuahua who is also available for adoption. Both have been spayed, heartworm tested negative, vaccinated and rabies and in good health.  They get along with other dogs and love to be loved on. I am posting pictures of them before and after they visited the groomer. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.5/5/24 'Some guys have all the luck.' But not this guy. We didn't have a bit of luck finding Rod Stewart's owner after he came to us as a stray. But on the other hand, he was found by a good Samaritan and a wonderful foster stepped up to take him until adopted, so maybe he's pretty lucky after all! Rod Stewart is a young pomeranian, probably about 5 months old. He is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and kids. He loves to play and loves to snuggle in a lap. He's a tiny guy. He looks a lot bigger than he is, because of all the hair. He's probably about 8-9lbs currently and won't get much bigger. He's not totally house trained but he's working on it! He will be neutered soon and then can go to his new home. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
