Story
Luka is in a foster home in Texas. He can be transported, once adopted. Transport charges $230 He is a sweetheart. We are not sure how big he will be when grown, but likely less than 15lb. His favorite things right now are playing and sleeping. He loves other dogs and cats, but most of all people. He would love a family that can give him a lot of attention and not leave him alone a lot. He is working on potty training but has a ways to go, so patience will be a requirement. He has very sharp baby teeth so older, experienced children would be a better match than a baby.If you feel like your family is a good match for little Luka, please submit an application. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
🐶 JACKSON – 4 years old (Boned with Gizmo) Jackson is a bright little ray of sunshine — full of love, tail wags, and the best kind of loyal companionship. He lost his home when his owner passed away, and now he’s doing his best to stay upbeat and brave, not just for himself but for his best friend, Gizmo. Jackson is affectionate, snuggly, and happy to explore, but never strays far from the senior dog who depends on him more than ever. He’s the kind of dog who makes people smile — endlessly sweet, absolutely adorable, and never barky. Jackson is very treat motivated and eager to please, which makes him a joy to be around and easy to guide. He’d thrive with a fenced-in yard (or a place to run) where he can run and sniff and let out all that joyful energy before curling up with his person for cuddles. Jackson sleeps soundly through the night and is housebroken with a consistent routine. He and Gizmo have had a few accidents with all the recent change, but nothing that patience and structure can’t help with. Their bond is strong, and what they need now is someone who can give them the safety and stability they so deeply miss. They’ll return the favor with a love that runs deep. 👉 Apply to adopt at www.allpawsondeck.org. Jackson and Gizmo must be adopted together. Apply for Jackson at allpawsondeck.org Must be 21+ to adopt $500 Adoption Fee (for both him and Gizmo) Located in Griswold, CT To adopt you must - Fill out an application at allpawsondeck.org - all your pets must be spayed / neutered and up to date - We can’t adopt to MA residents due to State Laws. If the dog is posted, the dog is available. Only complete applications at allpawsondeck.org will be considered.

Story
SUPER SWEET ONE EYED DOG! Coco is quiet and crate trained. He loves car rides & getting groomed. He doesn't need a lot of exercise and mostly wants to cuddle with his favorite adults. We adopted Coco in June 2024 from a shelter in the south, where he was found as a stray. An Embark DNA test said he was born in October 2014, but he may be a bit younger. Although he is amazing with adults, he is afraid of children & cats. Unfortunately, our home has plenty of both so we are seeking a better home for him. He is house-trained, but he is a nervous pee-er, so he wears male wraps around the house. I imagine this might get better in a home where he is less anxious and is kept on a schedule. Coco will go home with his crate & bedding, lovey, treats, harness & leash, the rest of his food & diapers and some toys. Coco will make the perfect dog for someone! Please message me with any questions.

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Meet JERRY, a very happy guy who simply gets along with everyone, humans and dogs, big and small.  JERRY is a Papillon mix with a very soft coat to go along with his soft soul.  He is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 10 pounds. This guy was left behind at an apartment complex when his owners moved out and I cannot make any sense of why they did not take him because I have not had any trouble out of him.  He is quiet, crate and potty trained and walks well on a leash.  There is no aggression in him anywhere, he shares his food bowl and his toys with the other dogs. He lives to cuddle with you and at 10 pounds he is easy to pick up and he will not grow any bigger.  You can take him everywhere and expect a well-mannered gentleman at all times. If you are interested in adopting JERRY please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you for your interest. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
Name: Kiwi Nickname: Pee-wee-Kiwi. Nugg. Kiki Little One. Breed: Papillon mix Weight: 5 lbs. Sex: Female Age: 5 years Before OMD/Medical: Kiwi was picked up as a stray and brought into animal control for her stray hold. Her fur was matted and her eye had ruptured at some point, and because she hadn't received medical care at the time, it became infected and she lost her sight in that eye. Her eye was completely crusted and scabbed over and she was in obvious pain (but still so so sweet). We were able to take her into rescue and have her eye removed, as well as remove a mammary mass which, thankfully, came back as benign. Energy Level: Low. She is happy just relaxing in the house and yard mainly, but can also keep up with her foster sibling for mile-long walks. Descriports: Lap dog. Low maintenance. Adaptable. Easy-going. "The sweetest little dog I've ever met" What we love most: How cuddly she is. When she perches atop your shoulders like a parrot. Her tiny-circle zoomies and/or tip tap dancing when you come home. What she loves most: Snuggling up to anyone that emits heat. Blankets (Kiwi without a blanket is not a happy Kiwi). Being held. Treats. The breeze when going for car rides. What she doesn't love: The cold. Random tidbit: She is an incessant licker at times...people, the couch, etc. Kids: She did well with a 4 year old, and we expect she would be fine with dog-savvy, respectful kiddos Dogs: Sure! She is a co-exister with her foster sibling and the others she has met Cats: Yep. Pays them no mind. Housetrained: Getting there. Since she's not a fan at all of the cold, she has been utilizing potty pads at times (and has some accidents not on the pads too). Crate trained: Yes Kiwi is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. She is available for adoption to residents of CT and surrounding states. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application from omdrescue.org
