Meet Pepper 🐾 Pepper is a 3-year-old Pomeranian mix who came to us from a hoarding situation and had very minimal human interaction before entering rescue. Because of this, much of the world is completely new and overwhelming to her. She has never worn a collar or harness. She has never been on a leash. Because of this, Pepper is considered a flight risk and will need a home that understands the importance of safety, secure handling, and a very cautious approach as she learns to feel safe. Pepper is shy, fearful, and unsure, but she deserves a calm, compassionate foster or adopter who can give her the space, consistency, and understanding she needs to feel safe. A quiet home with realistic expectations will be essential for her success. Pepper has shown that she can do well with cats and is good with other dogs when given proper, slow introductions. She also loves stuffed toys, which bring her comfort and help her feel a little more secure as she settles in. If you have experience with fearful dogs or hoarding cases—or simply a big heart and patience—Pepper could truly benefit from you. Even a foster home can make a life-changing difference for her.

DOB 11-25-2022 Gina spent her short life in a breeding facility until just a few months ago. She gave birth to 3 little puppies but had no milk. We were given the option to purchase her and her puppies so of course we did. Gina is a sweet 8 pound girl, she is a little shy but gets along great with others, she loves to run in the yard, play and is now a pretty social girl. She has been spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and received a ProHeart6 protection injection. Gina's adoption fee is 850.00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC, they run every other week to their stops on the East Coast. They are the best transport and the only one we will use. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
